How much does it cost? What you might expect to pay to have this done to your DD15 or DD13 engine

- A question I get asked regularly is, how much does it cost or how much should I expect to pay to have this repair.
If you are replacing your oil pan gasket, expect the following parts to be replaced.
New oil pan gasket.
18 bolt and grommets
2 seal
1 small tube of permatex
Upgrade your drain plug with an EZ drain with adapter
1 oil filter
Approximately 13 gallons of motor oil
Labor can be 8-10 hours. The hourly rate can depend on the shop you are using. Rates can vary from $100 to $200 per hour.
Total cost can come to $1500-1700 and don’t forget to add sales tax for the parts. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
It is a prevention upgrade for DD15 engine. At least you ok don’t worried about oil pressure low, crankshaft breakdown. Easy oil change, clean oil pan. It is a worthy investment.

If you put a bottle jack in between the frame rail and leaf spring, you don’t have to drop the horseshoe nor take the front bracket off that is held in by the front mount (or touch any of those airlines you did) would’ve probably saved you thirty minutes to an hour. Stand pipe is replaceable, you don’t in fact have to replace the whole module.

I did mine in a couple hours but being a coronado there is nothing to remove other than the pan. It comes out pretty easy. I reused my bolts and gasket as I found my leak to be the oil sending unit. Should have looked a bit harder but hey only cost me time. Love not having oil leaks or drips. I like hearing your pricing but here in Canada you can almost double that stuff from Frieghtliner. good videos and good info I have used this a lot. I bought the truck with a blown engine and replaced with a used one. Next on the list is to do the valves adjustment you say is very important. Should have done that right off but didn't learn about it till later. DD16 run like a charm.
Appreciate the comment, the Coronado is nice to work on. Just like the classic Freightliner, it has everything out in the open to work on.

I use two cameras. The first is a GoPro Hero 8 (older unit) and my iPhone
The GoPro allows me to use different accessories to better film depending on what I am trying to share. Head strap, tripod, mount are great for this and of course the iPhone.
Do you have the part number for the drain plug and adapter?
How much would changing the oil pump add for the cost of the pump?
About an extra $375 for a new pump. The labor is the same, just have to decide on pump replacement

Do you sell automatic clutch clutch of cascadia DD15 manufactured 2016
I do not. But there are more options available. You can purchase the original clutch and clutch actuator but they are very expensive.
EATON and I believe Alliance (Freightliner house brand) now offer aftermarket options for much less.
I don’t sell them, I purchase them as needed from my local Freightliner.
What are those things that you’re using for truck ramps?
Those are from a loading dock. The part where the trailer backs up to. Not sure where we got them from.
