Great video sorry to be a bore but do believe to be valid....,one thing I did pick up on is the digital routing section, for users to ensure they have the maps stored locally due to signal issues out in the wild and some sort of power bank if possible on long routes. Mountain rescue etc would deffinately insist on some kind of physical map and compass in very remote/extreme areas as there are so many possible issues that can occur with modern tech, broken equipment, GPS and mobile signals, learning curve and ease of use, battery issues.etc. I've seen on two occasions the army having to go up a mountain due to hyperthermia of someone that was lost and believe me they were not happy. A lightweight thermal foil blanket could also be literally a life saver in any weather for a few extra grams, not just in extreme cold but for treating shock, keeping dry and they are wind proof.
