Love that these other brands are really giving their consumers their money’s worth. I remember buying the WoW 4 from sunlight station and the amount of stuff that came with the shoe was amazing.
it's cause anta & li-ning are chinese companies, they don't have the price bump of other brands that're Western/European.
Nike/Adidas have gotten increasingly complacent so much so they've been putting minimal effort into their basketball shoes bc they know consumers (in the West) are still going to buy those crap.
@@wasabitequila yea lol. There's been this stigma around "chinese" companies and manufacturing even thought nike/adidas *use chinese factories* , but just mark up their prices. People in the US say you shouldn't buy things from chinese companies bc you're supporting the bad practices even thought nike, adidas, NB, etc all use the same thing.
I wanted them so bad! But they didn't make my size.

Weartesters been ahead of the curve. Anta needs to be more readily available worldwide. They have great products (obviously not every shoe is a hit).

Dope looks like the old school Adidas Tortion in the midsole, especially underneath. Definitely diggin the galaxy colorway similar to the Luka 2…both dudes are gonna be killing it this year.

These are sick! I’m glad Kyrie decided on something different as far as brand! Anta also was Manny Pacquiao’s brand after Nike departed from Pacquiao.
same colorway i have. bought game day pro. i can say they're the best combination. made the best shoe that i ever wore. amazing how cushion is very good but a very good court feel.
Anta, Li Ning are my go to shoe brands. They do last till the sole got holes due to over usage.
The cw’s for this model looks good.
Anta is underrated. I agree, I hope more people give this brand a chance. The tech you’ll get for your money is much better to bigger brands at the same price range.

Kyrie was wearing Shock Wave 5 Pro (All black one) in the basketball camp.
The upper is kind of different than the normal one.
i have the KT 8 and i think that the upper that they used is the same with the pro
I think that's the Pro version. This one in the video is the non pro version (Outdoor friendly)
What’s good is that the model also has a team version, with full-length aflash foam instead (if im not mistaken). So yeah anta does a good job in making takedown models still with good tech.
Also, the ZUP 4s are the best looking anta shoes today imo and the tech is also crazy, and the skyline models are also budget friendly but pack premium tech features (just opted for the allcity 11 instead tho lmao)
Also team version doesn’t have that stiff upper material has more mesh I have the team version and love it

Just received these this week. One of our student athletes has been working out in them all summer. My only complaint was availability. Ordered them directly from Anta and received them in about 2-3 weeks. I feel like the American market is a bit stale and could use a model like this to shake it up at retail.

the american market is way too hypnotized by nike and adidas. i wish they'd open up to other global brands as well to make their products more easily accessible.

Great review as always. Its unfortunate a lot of the ballers still just buy Nike just because of name. They need to watch your video and have a change of heart and go out and try different brands, like Anta.

Maybe it’s the resellers and the low stock numbers but size 15 & 16 are usually the first to sell out in the bigger brands so why the smaller companies exclude these sizes is beyond me.

These shoes from lining and anta are fantastic looking but there’s no love for guys with big feet. I can never find them in size 13. Crossing my fingers hoping that kyrie’s come in my size.

In my experience outdoor soles are more durable but softer indoor soles are a bit tackier for indoor surfaces. So you'll def get a slight performance boost with indoor soles on an indoor court v.s. outdoor soles on an indoor court.
Well, i'm from China and i have worn so many brands of shoes, China brands and oversea brands. In China many of us don't have Many chances to get into indoor courts. So the the outdoor version Literally means 鞋底的橡胶纹路更深，纹路也会更粗。(Sorry, i cannot say this in english so you can check it out in translation.) the material of the rubber is similar to these indoor shoes' ,That means their function is similar. And these outdoor shoes is also capable of indoor using.(In most of the cases, it's even better in gripping). Sometimes we don't understand why. Brands like under armour, you know the brand new curry shoes, They may grip well on indoor courts, but they're not durable at all. We have a joke thatEvery crossover you do with these curry shoes you'll lose several bucks (Because the shoes are going to its end earlier And soon you will lose the shoes, its original price.)
Take me myself as an example, many of my oversea sneakers, I give them up because the the rubber is done, There will be a hole underneath the shoe, At the place where The bone of my big toe lies. But the rest of the shoe is still in very good condition. And you may notice that Nike keys chinese version shoes they have “XDR”xtra durable rubber. Well, the other version you always have transparent plastic outsole.
Well, i maybe i'm not answer you pertinently above. In all, You may sense the difference between these rubber outsoles and plastic& Transparent outsoles , And these chinese brand shoes they grip exactly like those rubber shoes, of any brand. They are just More durable And maybe a little thicker(A good thing for outdoor users, because it's cushioning is better. But some pros They don't like the soft feeling when playing indoor. )
These years the chinese version TH-camrs centralize On every aspect of shoes for better playing, And they also have deep contact With these chinese brands. So the chinese shoes recently Always don't have the gripping problem. That was problem many years ago. They have Made every effort To dodge it.
btw, China has many brands, and their competition is very fierce.You can see they Already put these carbon fibers on very cheap shoes. And I Have sensed the betterExperience purchasing chinese brand shoes. Many of us think the Nike is so arrogant and their shoes don't evolve. For example.We do think that the lebron 18-19 so expensive, but the quality and experience cannot catch up toThe price.
And the brand-new lebron shoes, many say they are very good, but i think they cannot. Catch up to kobe shoes. Man, how many years has passed?

Good luck with that, my son is a huge Klay fan, so I’ve been trying to get his Anta shoe in a size 13 for a few years now and no luck, I can rarely find a size 13 at all and when I do they don’t have anything near a 13 in stock. Actually a horrible customer service company…………..
Anta is packing tech into their shoes like Nike used to do 10-15yrs ago before they started charging crazy prices for barely any tech now.

These shoes from China are made so much better than here in the U.S. We've been getting fed absolute dog crap of shoes for so long and they slap stupid prices on it. Anta has GREAT QUALITY for indoor AND outdoor. They put actual materials with integrity meant to last. Shoes made here in the U.S are made to make you buy another one in 3-4 months lol
Another great video, of course…but I’m gonna get on my old man perch and cry about how frustrating it is that Anta doesn’t make shoes in large sizes. I wear a 14, and I’ll never be able to support a Kyrie, Klay, or Rondo shoe. How do the players even have the shoe if they don’t mKe them in that size? I very much doubt Klay wears a 12.5 or smaller. I know they do it because the people buying the shoe wear smaller sizes. But at least make it up to the size the athlete being represented wears. Off my old man perch.

Love the look of these, but I hate that it looks like we're only getting lows. I've stuck with Kyrie's this long because I loved them, but also because it's one of the few guard shoes that was still a mid. I have an old ankle injury and need as much support there as I can get. Seems like everyone's moving to lows now unfortunately.

Klay isn’t marketable. It’s clear. And with their prices for the Klay shoe, it was never gonna work and marketing suffers. They won’t move product until they invest in real marketable athletes and build around their vision. Kyrie is PERFECT for any brand so hopefully they don’t fumble this opportunity.
