It was such a touching moment when they embraced each other. Javi was like a big brother that consoled his younger brothers. And Yuzu got carried away with the deep emotions. I only saw this scenes on Instagram. Thank you for capturing the moment and share it to all of us.
Javier didn’t console Yuzu. He made Yuzu cry. Shoma had no clue why he was part of that thing. He wished he was not dragged into Javi and Yuzu bromance.

He didn’t want to tell Yuzu before the competition because it would distract him, and there probably wouldn’t be any time to tell him after the competition. He would’ve had to have told him over the phone and he probably didn’t want to do that. It was the perfect timing for him, cause Javi had to compete in the European championship pretty much straight after this.
@@abbiecampfield8955 He had time after that victory ceremony to tell him because there was the gala practice and the actual gala the next day plus the actual medal ceremony. They were in PeyongChang for two days after Javi made Yuzu cry in front of the whole world. Really did he have to do it in the 5 mins they were standing there waiting to go out on the ice for what was for Yuzu the greatest achievement in his life. That was kind of selfish of Javi.
@@tonya--7704 Exactly, that spaniard had to pull the weirdest shit right during those few minutes of the VC? Like he saw Yuzu and Shoma laughing and joking in that moment and he knew breaking the news at that time was gonna make him cry. At least Shoma didn't understand English so he was spared. Why not after the VC?? I always found it weird but tried to not overthink it coz of their longterm "friendship" . However, all the strange and negative comments he made about Yuzu in Spanish later on makes this moment actually nasty fr.

Fun fact, since he debuted as a junior he used to have a water bottle cozy that also matched his costumes. Not anymore but for a while he did :)
