You are a smart man Thanks heavens yea return! So much good to do. So many people to help and so much God expects from us to help our fellow beings get back to Him! Thanks for sharing and encouraging all that will listen to this!

The tithing conversation!!! The law of sacrifice is real. When I want God to bless me, I pay tithing, I fast, I serve someone. And then God opens the windows of heaven. It's wild

I like laws, boundaries, understanding in context. I got big into the law of attraction. Eek, a little too deep, but some ironic things did happen, which are hard to explain. And yet, where I’m at now, your comment explains the law of tithing in a very transactional, easy, and black and white way. I feel now, that’s not how things work, even though the positive experiences feel so impactful and comforting. And I’ve been surprised to find so much peace in more of a transformational approach to relationships and commitments. Love to you and to all, on the path and journey of life. ❤

You and your god are in a business relationship. YOU DO SOMETHING FOR HIM AND LIKEWISE. Prosperity gospel at its best.

I love this. As a lawyer, I resonated with the comment about how people don't remember facts accurately even a few weeks or a few months after they happen :). I loved the intellectual honesty and the lack of attempts to defend all actions and aspects of the church or its leaders, etc., but to fall back on the foundational truth claims and ask whether such and such a situation has any bearing on whether or not the gospel was restored and the church remains the Lord's authorized church on earth.
I encourage my children to be intellectually honest in the midst of their faith crises. Intellectual honesty will ultimately lead a person who leaves the church to a place where they either settle on no belief and no religion at all, or they find their way back to the place the early American settlers and saints were which sparked the restoration. A place where they believed in God and in the bible and were eagerly searching for a restoration of the gospel. Fortunately, the Savior has already begun the restoration, and has called men on earth to be prophets as in biblical times and has established His church, never to be removed until He comes again.

As a former small business owner, I can verify the tax code sucks. When I grew from a Sole Proprietorship to a Corporation, it was nearly impossible to promise to "be honest in your business dealings" and also feel like the IRS isn't ready to find something wrong.

When I was divorced and taking my boys around to collect fast offerings, I was shocked how many inactive members still paid fast offering and tithing (before online payments were set up). This was very sobering for me, it taught me we are all in different places and just because you aren’t going doesn’t mean you don’t have a testimony of anything. It is always so surprising to me what brings people back. It is obvious God knows us individually.

Phenomenal episode! I loved that Josh said that he decided to have faith as a little child (as Jesus taught), and that the Holy Ghost immediately came rushing back into his life. The joy of the Holy Ghost returning to him was palpable as he told that story. I’m so happy he’s sharing the Gospel on Tik Tok.

If you put God first He will bless you and if you don't you loose the spirit things go wrong and who do you feel worthy to turn to for help peace and happiness His love is more satisfying than money and who do you turn to in a health crisis His communication is spiritual and personal

So what is it to these day and night accusers of our Brethren? (Revelation 12: 10,11)
Nearly a billion a year we give away the world over for disaster relief and third world poverty. The feds of the current administration have the unmitigated gaul to take exception to our rainy day funds when they spend taxpayer money like a drunken sailor. Look at the national debt. At least The Church does not spend money it does not have.
I wish The Church had assets of over hundred billion so we could give away around three billion a year. Now that would be something! Double down !! TRIPLE DOWN !!!
But know they will never stop accusing our Brethren no matter what is done. Such is the lot of true believers,
(Matthew 5: 10-12) and we are in good company for it.
