Good 370Z review Danny. Here’s my notes: Bought a 370Z Nismo a few years back, used completely stock. 2010 Well maintained with only about 40K on the clock. So someone’s garage baby who had to sell when he had a kid. I added: 1. Stillen Gen3 long intakes. 2. Stillen 34 row oil cooler (yes it’s needed in CA) and yes it all fits. 3. Steering wheel lock failed (common fault) stranded me once. Google for fix. Cost me
Correction: I meant for #2 that 370Z models later than 2013 had no Electronic Steering Column Lock from factory. Google “ESCL 370Z” and check the370Z.com forum for more info. If it’s still working on an earlier than 2013 370Z - pull the fuse before it fails. You will still have anti-theft, just no steering wheel locking.
The automatic trans in these 370z are actually very reliable. With proper maintenance they shouldn't fail on you unless you're pushing quite a bit of power numbers over stock. If you plan on going FBO the auto is fine. If you're looking for forced induction of any sort then the manual is the only option. I bought a auto only because I can only afford to have 2 cars now and if my wife needs to drive my car it would need to be an auto. The only benefit to the auto over a manual is that they are slightly quicker and you don't have to deal with constantly mashing that clutch in bumper to bumper traffic. Manuals on any car will be more fun to drive and "rewarding".

This is my first time owning the 370Z sport and subscribing this channel. Had it since February this year that has low miles. The only thing i had to to replace was the water pumps, gaskets, and thermostat housing because coolant had got onto the top and the front of the engine.
Inspect the bushings on the control arms. Unusual tire wear. Oil sweating around valve cover gaskets. Fluid inspections. Shock and strut condition. If they play it off, odds are their hiding something . Ask for recipes of work and maintenance.
Bro buy the Kicker 10 inch Comp kit that has the small sub box.Its comes as a kit with sub and amp for $150. It literally fits rite under the bar to the trunk cover and doesn’t take that much space. Great amount of base for the car and like I said it fits snug rite under the bar to the trunk cover for a clean stealthy look.
If your buying this car buy it to keep drive it until the motor goes out then when you rebuild it upgrade your internals so you can boost it. Thats what ive done with the 350 and its allowed me to be alot more thorough and it shows in reliability and drivability
I bought my 2010 370z, she was under miles with only 72k miles. I got it for 13.5k when it was listed for 15.8, I’ve had to replace the CSC and it was a pain but she runs like a dream
So I went with the Base Model 370z Heritage Edition. It doesnt have the big brake upgrade or the navigation center console but it has the little storage unit instead and i upgraded the radio myself and it was very worth it
@@josemitchell-reyes3598 Honestly mostly just Pros, If anything id recommend the base and just upgrade the radio yourself to have carplay as the standard navigation system is so bad. As far as brakes and wheels are concerned I think it would be more beneficial to get the base and upgrade wheels and brakes on your own. Anyone who is in the market for 350z/370z. 2007 - 2009 350z’s have failing oil gallery gaskets along with early model 370z’s and G37’s. I own a 2008 350z Nismo edition #1530. I’m the third owner bought it from my good friend for $20,000. Clean title, at the time in 2016 when I purchased, the dial read 36,000 miles. Now I have replaced the slave cylinder only once with this car and the car now is at 69,000 miles. Z1 Motorsports and ZSPEED make a kit where they move the location of the slave from the inside to the outside. I went with the ZSPEED line since I also replaced the whole clutch system with a ZSPEED clutch setup. I have a video on my channel showing the CMAK kit setup if anyone is curious. Just throwing out some helpful tips for anyone interested in the Z/G plateform or anyone who is any owner already. Been in the Z game for the last 10 years. Started with an automatic 2006 Grand Toruing model to a 2005 Base Model and then to graduate to the Nismo model.

I’ve been wanting one forever but I work construction , I’m worried I can’t fit a rolling tool storage In here, it would just be the standard sized one and only one, I think I could remove the passenger seat and probably use that, I don’t have friends so the second seat isn’t needed
My 70 has 150k on it right now. Engines bullet proof and I drive it like a highschooler. Only problems I’ve ran into was the starter went out and and my valve cover gasket was leaking. Nothing major though.
100% on the CSC! 08 Infiniti G37S coupe here and my CSC went out 2 times since ive owned the car. Had to replace the CSC as well as the Master, both times. 2nd time upgraded from a the OEM CSC to the Heavy Duty one from JWT. So far its holding up well.
I guess since mine had 99k I squeaked by the mileage question. Never seen a more immaculate carfax, and that sold me, despite the heavy modifications (pushing 370hp NA). Replaced my altima with 270k (sold it running) so I believe in Nissan engines lasting. First learned to drive on a '78 620 pickup that was still running at 300k, that's when I was sold on the brand. And my offroad/light tow vehicle is a 6 speed 4wd xterra with the VQ40. Hard to pass up a 2005 with 80k (in 2015) for $9k.
I want a community opinion I am planning on getting a 350 Z relatively soon but I’m not gonna turn it into a stance car or a show car it’s going to become a off-road vehicle bill for hitting Sandune‘s and mud climbing I am possibly sending it flying across the Nevada salt flats
After owning a 350 and a 370 my recommendation is DON'T BUY ONE. Unless you want it as a weekend car or track car. As a daily driver this is NOT the right car to buy. MY 350 got a crack in the block and was burning all 5 quarts of oil in a day. I disguised the problem and dropped it off at CarMax and got the only 370z they had to replace it. The 370z has 56000 and always has something new every week that you need to work on. My 370 is in immaculate condition and I change the oil every 3000 miles with synthetic and now it has sludge in the engine which keeps killing the first coil and now I need to have it replaced; the engine that is. Before the Z's I had an EVO VII for 5 years and it was AMAZING and before that an Integra GSR which was also AMAZING.
Wow , if somebody else gets that “disguised” problem sold to them by car max you’re a scumbag. Sounds like you must be doing something to fuck your cars up or buying lemons/ already beat to shit cars
Dang I finessed myself lol, bought a 2010 with 102k miles for $7250, power steering was out, had a shitty uprev tune that made me get 14.2mpg, anyways, got a new power steering pump, got admintuned and now I’m getting 18.5 mpg, she’s running real good! I have to replace my clutch fluid literally once a week tho, it turns green/dark green after a week, it’s my daily btw
Maintain it realy good going forward and it will go 200,000 plus miles. My coworker has a 06 G35 205,000 miles on original engine and Trans. Don't believe the hype from guys that didn't do shit for maintenance and then turn around and say Nissan and Infiniti sucks and not reliable.
Fred Williams appreciate the advice man, I’m changing the oil every 4k and inspecting fluid levels on everything every fill up, no mechanical issues yet I hope it lasts me 100k more like that G35
@@alejandromata8111 There you go!👍 it should! My 08 M45 Sport has so far 110,000 trouble free miles aswell! Good luck to you they realy are great cars!
No. But, the only reason to purchase a Nismo is to do minimal modifications to it. Save your money, buy a base or sport, and then build from there. The extra thousands of dollars that put you into a Nismo vs a base/sport, could have purchased TONS of modifications.

Signs - cold/warm startups car idles super low immediately after startup and almost/sometimes dies, driving and losing power, sputtering (exhaust noise), no throttle response whatsoever, fuel gauge barely moves.
Fuel starvation - The fuel tank is shaped like a horse sattle ( n - shaped ) and there is only 1 fuel pump (located on the passenger side). Half a tank or less of fuel on hard right turns, car looses all power due to fuel starvation because the fuel sloshes to the other side of the tank.

Signs - High oil temps
High Oil Temps - The damn car runs hot. Why? Because of the tiny ass oil cooler nissan cut corners on. Get a larger oil cooler from Z1 Motorsports with internal temp gauge and send it. Your welcome.

Fuel Cell Top Hat - It is upon my most recent discovery that the fuel cell top hat in the 370 is also garbage. Mine is a 2014 that I have babied and abused (60k miles) and the top hat over time begins to warp.
Signs - Fuel starvation, improper fuel gauge reading, faint gas smell in cab even when car is in motion.

370/350 is just so beautiful and I can’t wait to get one when I get the chance
Where did you get the spoiler?
You are the most organized youtuber
07 hr with two hundred thousand on it here and maybe I'm just lucky but It been the most reliable car I have ever driven.
I hate having to get rid of cars when the mileage is to high ;(
I’ve been wanting one forever but I work construction , I’m worried I can’t fit a rolling tool storage In here, it would just be the standard sized one and only one, I think I could remove the passenger seat and probably use that, I don’t have friends so the second seat isn’t needed
just got an 04’ 350z with 50k miles with an intake and bora exhaust it’s nice
My 70 has 150k on it right now. Engines bullet proof and I drive it like a highschooler. Only problems I’ve ran into was the starter went out and and my valve cover gasket was leaking. Nothing major though.
I just installed the Stillen SC kit from Z1 on mine!
hi, whats the name of the spoiler n bottom buimper thanks
I like these cars a lot. I’m thinking about getting a automatic one just because I live in California and traffic will be difficult with a manual
I got a 2012 370z convertible 60k 6psd and sit on 20 inch rims, love it:)
My manual g35 coupe has 111,000 miles and none of the previous owners seemingly ever fixed it... copart car gang
Yeah mine went out at 50,000 mile so I just change the clutch and everything :p
Im getting a 2019 370z Saturday Manual transmission and I’ve never drove stick shift before
Good luck budd
kevin couture my first car and my first stick shift car a Suzuki SX4 sedan. It’s was pretty fun.
Learning stick is easy. Practice stop and go on hills, then everything else is easy.
Just bought my first Z yesterday!
80k and never done a donut or burn out, man im old.
My goal is to get a Z by the end of the year🙌🏽
I dont know about cars but what is the difference between this one and gtr r35?
price LOL
@@vyast what about the peformance? Customization?
Chenete Espares r35s are way faster 😂
Every z around here with low miles are like $27k now. Crazy how high prices are.
I can’t decide between a Z, Camaro , or mustang, Gt-86 it’s a difficult decision for me
always wanted a 370z or 350 since i saw it in real racing 3...
Waiting to get my dream nismo😍
What spoiler do you have on the car? Really interested in getting it myself
For ur civic?
Pyramaticus I don’t own a civic
Pyramaticus I’m buying a 350z soon. I want this same spoiler on the 350z
What is your exhaust and header setup?
been watching your channel for a month or 2 now and just realized i'm not subbed🤦♂️ subscribed now on the road to 100k you got this by 2021
Lets get it!🤘🏻🤘🏻
what year is your nismo?
Just got an 05 touring with 23k miles ;)
If Brittany is a guy his name would be Bradly
I want a community opinion I am planning on getting a 350 Z relatively soon but I’m not gonna turn it into a stance car or a show car it’s going to become a off-road vehicle bill for hitting Sandune‘s and mud climbing I am possibly sending it flying across the Nevada salt flats
Just got my 09 350z vert 🤘
Only 60k miles
Question which is the better car 350z or 370z and why
Yeah… your car sounds great… really nice man GJ
I love your Nissan 370Z!
You've done some nice mods.
Thank you!
Very active video! Loved the edit and the vibe from it! Keep it #100kgang
What exhaust did you get??
Great vid! I’m looking into a 370z Nismo 😍
Landed me a brand new 2020 50th anniversary...she’s my 4th Z
How much it cost you?
I am from georgia🇬🇪.i like your videos. And your car .thank you for good videos♥️
Thanks for supporting 🙏🏻
looking into buying a z, what year is the best or a good one to buy ?
2006 and up
@@elipymentGG thank you
What years are the best to buy this car in ??
I love these cars want one looks so easy to modify it is fire brooo!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
When I get mine I'm gonna make it automatic cause manual is just to much work for me while watching the road
After a week of driving manual it will be like second nature to you. Get the manual.
Lmao oooff
what is the exhaut are you using ?
Have you had problems with the escl and the car not being able to start?
Firm believer the only thing a Z needs is NOS 😉
I loved this 🥺🙌🙌 100k soon!
🤘🏻🤘🏻
How much you think gas is for it now in 2022
Is there a difficulty difference in modifying the nismo and base?
No. But, the only reason to purchase a Nismo is to do minimal modifications to it. Save your money, buy a base or sport, and then build from there. The extra thousands of dollars that put you into a Nismo vs a base/sport, could have purchased TONS of modifications.
I have a 2020 370z nismo, fucking love it . Updating it currently
😃 waiting on my Motordyne Shockwave exhaust to arrive. No more stock exhaust life coming soon!
sammmmmeeeeeeee
"i wont buy it over 100k miles its nissan" excuse me sir my 02 pathfinder is currently at 216k miles and is running completely fine... besides the fact that somedays i put the key in and get a no crank no start and nobody ive taken it to can tell me whats wrong with it because they cant recreate the situation and its not throwing any codes.... but besides THAT ITS FINE!
ik im a year late to this vid but 50-60 to fill up a 370z!? gaadaam its like 70-80+ to fill up a 1.7L car here in NewZealand 😭 been looking for manual 350z but lowest mileage i saw was 119ks on it for 16k the rest r like 140 😢 n auto is a nono for me. been trying to choose between 350z or an 86/brz for a while now
Is it true that they have bad transmissions?
Well I missed the notification 😕 next time I need to be 1st lol
New sub! loved the video man! just got a 2019 recently
