Ya know, I thought something seemed wrong about where Katie and Howard were sitting. And then it hit me: watch just about any talk show, particularly one where the host sits at a desk, and you'll notice that the host is always sitting on the right side from the audiences view.
Katie had such a wonderful persona, energy around Howard. Wish that had came out more, the Matt Laurer love didn't age so well tho. Been interesting to hear the real WHY her and Matt never hooked up. Probably couldn't keep his tongue out of intern's asses long enough to notice his co-anchor
except amy ficsher & once w/anna nicole wouldnt open up 2 him when interviewn they walked out on him & richard simmons as well of all people these 3 couldnt talk 2 him after all the things theyve done
don't get the mystique of this guy ... he's rude, crude, unpredictable ... funny how people react to that kind of things these days and most shows have degenerated into some kind of noxious noise ... seems like younger people always want to see what they think is forbidden, and he is creepy.
He forces all of these celebrities who put on this fake professional facade to answer questions about their personal lives. You get to hear how the real person feels and not just how they're presenting themselves. You can call it rude and crude, I call it honest. He brings an element of honesty to an extremely fake industry. He makes these celebrity robots into what they are when the camera turns off, humans.
