I have a beautiful Land Rover 90” took the 19j engine out Put a 300 Tdi engine/R380 gearbox/ transfer box & rear axel out a discovery in it , vented discs up front absolutely perfect new bulkhead & all new doors… one of the nicest one in Ireland 🇮🇪
If Land Rover sold the blue prints to Santana & had a license to produce it is not a counterfeit. Thanks for the info though. I am in the market for a Defender and wasn’t are of these pitfalls.

my question is why did i get a disco for $950 wen id have to pay at least $10,000 for a defender?
I see a lot of your trucks have Td5/ puma bonnets and fronts, I didn’t think you could import defenders that new?

What's the best/quickest way to destinguish a true Defender vs a counterfit model? VIN?
Yes Sir a VIN is a good place to start but ensure vin matches on the frame also and the engine model matches the vin
The cars he is talking about are not counterfeits, they are perfectly legit cars, just not Defenders.
