I don't think it will be *that bad* , I think it will be fine, it would probably be more smoother, + the restraints looks so much more comfortable than the regular stand ups. Also, love how the editor is literally contradicting you lol
When I first heard about the wing-coaster model I thought it was pointless and if I had been thinking in business terms I would have expected it to fail. It looked like X2 but without the 4D element that made that coaster so interesting, and it looked to me like B&M was just scraping the bottom of the barrel after having gone through better and more interesting seating positions with their inverted and flying models. It turned out that I was dead wrong and B&M knew what they were doing. So I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt with this surf coaster model and the seats moving up and down makes this the most excited I've been for a new coaster model since RMC started making their topper track.
Thats actually really interesting to hear. Hopefully the surf coaster is what we want to expect!

The Batman clone is crazy intense, the hard otsr don’t bother me, and the pretzel loop is awesome you feel all of the 6Gs
This is slander against Kumba and Kraken and I will not have it on this comment section! These coasters are national treasures (Kumba especially) and to call them mistakes is wronf
It's going to entirely depend on if the seats moving makes it a comfortable ride experience. Parks love B&M for there reliability and high capacity and if this is a ride the GP love I fully expect park's in the cedar fair SeaWorld and European parks to be interested in these coasters.
I actually got a really good ride on Riddlers Revenge a couple months back. It wasn’t uncomfortable at all. I got 4 or 3 moments of headbang jolts but it still lands at my #7 at the park. (I haven’t ridden WW yet so it will probably become 8)

Me and flashwing/Darren/the editor are very good friends in real life. We disagree on a lot of things, have conflicting personalities, yet still manage to have a good relationship. You can see it more prominently in the vlog that we have recorded and are procrastinating editing it.
Alton towers is my home park, I even work quite high up on the “creative team” (that’s coming up with new ideas mixed with just being an engineer) trust me, Alton isn’t getting a surf

completely agree! I also think that the T-Rex could be a failure because of how expensive it would be! Plus its too much like the raptor!
I'm pretty sure one of the selling points of the T-Rex is that they are notoriously cheap compared to other models of similar scale? And the difference between them and the raptors is that they can be built at a much larger scale? and would likely employ different elements with the greater speed, so I don't rly understand your point.
the t-rex is going to be way different from a raptor, all the elements on that look to be more drawn out and it has the capability of going very high, its also very cheap for a coaster of its size :))

I always thought the idea behind standups was to make a smaller coaster exciting -- which is very appropriate to the times, see also the B&M launched wing shuttle. If Pipeline wasn't standup, the main criticism would probably be it being only 110' tall, but no seems to have noticed.

Yeah B&M’s new coasters are a lot more rattly than they should be so I disagree with the editor on that one
They will probably add these new trains on like Green Lantern and the other big Standup Coasters
that would help out a ton with the roughness, though I think the longer trains might prove some tracking issues.

Not the first mistake... the original Stand Ups are pretty crap.
It’s usually not a great strategy to have the editor be the much better and funnier individual in literally every video… I want to like this channel, but it’s hard
I'm about 99% sure that B&M can make a sit down version of the surf coaster with the same launch and bouncing seats, if a park requests it. If that's true, then like half of the arguments in this video are pretty much void
yea, I think they can too. However, this was my point with how theres 6 others manafacturers that can do it for cheaper, and arguably better
@@RCETown with B&M, you're paying for the reliability and safety. Intamin coasters for example, while being cheaper, are way less reliable and have a much worse safety record than B&M coasters.
Dollywood could use one as a snowboard coaster, but then again, so could Lagoon or Elich, if they ever get the park relocated. ........... Again.
I actually think it would be incredibly cool to see a terrain based surf coaster themed to snowboarding at dollywood. Might make me like the model. Only time will tell :)
