Windsurfing in Denmark - at Hanstholm.

Wind surfers from many European countries gather spontaneously depending on weather forecasts. This weekend several hundred had turned up. The place is close to the ferry terminal to Hirtshals. There are also gatherings here called North Cold Hawaii.

Why are you wave sailing with your boom so high?

Some people prefer high booms because some boards need the boom higher to actually work. Some want faster planing rather than manouverobility. I know that witchcraft boards need a high boom for some reason and they wont work as well with a low boom.
