Agreed. I'm just a standard average player, and I do rampages with this tank (and the US premium T29 too ^^).
My girlfriend has been playing WT since launch and recommended this as a very solid newbie-friendly premie for my rising Russian tech tree...I got it and haven't regretted it at all. I'm still learning so much about the game and this tank, but I'm definitely having a lot of fun with it.
Can she be friends with my Lady so she can get her into WT as well?

I like the small maps with lot of people, but I don't really like huge maps with half team personnaly, I don't really get why they do this

Big maps are such a slog, especially with half teams and on mid tier, the only people who enjoy big maps are either autistic larpers and/or campers.

19:12 the armor on the Vickers Mk.1 was fixed, used to have an entire hole on the left side turret cheek that you could shoot through with smoke shells and kill then whole crew

This thing is broken. Like, shamelessly broken. Love playing 8-9.0, so i got this after finally finishing my US ground. Going from the M60 to this thing is actually crazy
This thing is nuts even at 8.7, but whats even more nuts is the teams. 60% of matches I run out of opponents halfway through the match cause we've triple capped and spawncamped the enemy.
The only reason i don't bring this out to matches is because the next best thing i have is a T-44/100 and a czech milk truck. I'll probably go into more RBs when i have the T-55s and/or T-62s. Heck even a shilka.
Russian cold war vehicles are soooo aesthetically pleasing to me.
I was really on the fence about buying another premium this sale after getting the 2A4, but this video made it a no-brainer as 8.0 is one of my favorite BR's!
Funny how the br changes from the first T-54s from 1947 at 7.7 to the most modern T-55s at 8.3.
And it's a premium, which should tell you everything o.o

I mean the t55 is decent but when it faces things like the type 16 fps 🤷♂️ IMO the turms t72 is the best Russian mbt premium .
t55 am1 is far better than turms lol i can frontally pen turms woth dm23 easily while am1 is mostly immune except in an uptier where also a turms gets penned easily. Saying a tank is worse than another because the things he faces in an uptier is kinda dumb.

And if it’s the same price the turms is obviously a better option because you can use to to grind all the way to the end of the tech trees , the t72 is known in every nation as one of the most “Tanky” tanks
@@brendanngin9939 what do you mean? i often get uptiered in my t55 and still get good games averaging 3-5 kills per game. And sure go for the turms if you want but prepare for a nice 30% winrate and your team being full of lvl10s that leave after one desth without doing anything. Pair that with the general stage of 10.0 (drones, CAS etc) and i doubt you will have fun most of the time (i have both btw) 8.3 is just a far better br fun wise than 10.0 and i grinded much better with my t55am1 than with my turms.
downside lately is the uptiers :( hopefully it gets a bit better after a few weeks

I got this thing about a month or 2 before the turms came out, and I'm glad I did cause after the drones came I immediately stopped going above 8.7
But you already have drones @ 8.3, right ? (I mean, I see them often, so I guess it's already here at 8.3 🤷♂)

i like the T55s in the game, but 8.3 can become quite frustrating around Sales, when the 9.3 Blackhole gets fed by wallet warriors.
This is actually why I stopped researching the AMX-30B2. Yes it has APFSDS while the "basic" AMX-30 only has HEAT, but the AMX-30 is 8.3, while the AMX-30B2 is exactly the same (except of course the APFSDS shell), but at 8.7 ans it becomes a nightmare to use it at this BR.

I bought the tank the other day and went to load APCBC and APFSDS at the same time but for some reason I couldn't. Am I missing something or just slow? Tried looking for an answer anywhere with no luck at its just annoying me now.

It's great if your equal tier'd or facing downtier, it can bully a large amount of its BR range, but 8.7 and up and it gets wrecked by the dart wielding thermal bois, ATGM's melt you. 8.3 is not a good BR to be in right now.

Lol I bought a top tier premium pretty much as soon as I started the game and it took me like a week to “get good” it’s really not that hard just go where the majority of people go use apfsds and the rest is simple.

bruh, i spent 135€, cv90105, Mi28a, premium Apache, T55AM1, a bit of everything, so the grind for the big 4 gonna be better, pretty much done with russia and germany, only usa and sweden missing

I'm a newbie. It seems higher tiers have fewer players? So it is worthwhile to get this? Or just keep playing at BR 6.0
For the BR it is in, it's a wonderful tank. Other than that, I've never liked playing higher BRs than 8.3 cause it quickly becomes a sh.t show
i know u are a much better player than me but why dont u use the range finder in the binoculars?
The slight differences in readjusting to get gun on target can mean all the difference, hence why I rarely use LRF in the bino view.

As long as you don't fight Type 16 FPS and Merkava 2B, which there are a LOT of them because it's sales season
type 16 premium should be 9.0 tbh or even 9.3 this thing is broken af

@@arilwibisono9 wma is fun now at 8.7 imho the type 16 does everything better. Especially being able to drive backwards is a huge plus and the general higher mobility and gun handling

The tank is good but, the soviet and American teams from 8.0 to 9.3 are straight up jokes, Americans not as much as soviets, and it's just because of that tank, and the xm-1's for americans. It's not the problem in the tanks, it's in the players... They leave after one death in their stinky premiums and it drives me crazy, because i lose 80% of the time because like 85% of my team leaves because they die in their premium vehicle.

This is one of the most broken veihcles. Bounces APDS and 400mm pen HEATFS like its nothing and you will encounter them the most on this BR. Another proof of russian bias

I bought this tank on Saturday night. My second match in it, I got my first ever nuke. In that match I literally took an ATGM to the face and received exactly zero damage (no yellowing, no optics, nothing).
Absolutely worth the price on sale.
If someone shoots anything at you and you can tell you'll be shot at quickly angle turret corners towards the enemy it might bounce

@@aldousfoxly just make sure you play it somewhat conservatively and have a good lineup. The old soviet flank and spank works great. And the 8.3 Russian lineup is great. I run the T62, T10m, BMP2 and the IT1.

I like to buy some pack but the grind in this game put me off so much what the point in buy a 10 br tank when you can't play it for a year or two un till you got a line up for it or just play one death leave i know what gaijin like me to play the one death leave game all they care about now is money not the game this grind i can see it killing the game

Sorry to hear you've had such experiences. Unfortunately, I believe the charts to be incredibly accurate as 90% of my Russian games we absolutely dominate the enemy, or when fighting agaisnt them we get demolished more frequently than not.
No way I had 8 wins in a row with Soviet 11.0 and higher
