Hi there, i am 5'4 feet tall and struggling to find a good cue length, i am currently using 56 inches cue, which is decent enough in length to reach on most of the shots comfortably. But sometimes i feel that 57inches would be better to reach on almost every shot when it comes to stretch for the lengthy shots. As i've heard from players that your cue should be levelled uptil your shoulders for a better control on the cue ball. But how's that possible, if i measure it that way then i will have to probably go with a 54 inches cue. Which is hard to reach on even a mid stretch length shot. Reason behind is they say u should hold the cue leaving 1-2 inches behind from the butt. Infact in my current cue i am already leaving 3-4 inches behind. Still find it short on some shots. So should i go with the 57 inch or stay with the 56 or 55.

I like your explanation by exaggerating cute action too extreme. I used to do exactly what you are trying to demonstrate by stretching my bridge a bit too harsh and end up leaving no space for my cue to do feathers. 😊

Hey, I’m fairly short. 160cms in height and I find it uncomfortable to play with cues at snooker halls where I find myself holding the cue either too behind or way off balance too ahead.

My practice table/ room at home doesn't allow me to play with a normal size cue, so i startd playing with a shorter cue and found my cue action. But whenevr i play in clubs i struggle to play with regular cues and find that either im holding the cue far back or the extended butt (like you showed in the video) creates an error in my cue action. Does tht mean all my practice and work ive put in makes no sense if im changing cues?

I have a question about Cue length, i’m 6ft 4 inches and have an unusually long arm span which is actually longer than my legs.

Do tall people like basketball players need longer cues?

4min50 seconds is the best part. This guy has to be related to Austin Powers and his brother or something. I 100% cannot ever successfully take a swallow of my beer at any given part of this video Especially between.
