The Karnataka government's recent approval of a bill reserving jobs for locals in the private sector has drawn sharp criticism from industry leaders. The bill mandates 50 per cent reservation for management positions and 75 per cent for non-management roles for Kannadigas, and it also stipulates 100 per cent reservation for "C&D" grade government jobs.
On Tuesday, the Karnataka cabinet approved the bill, prompting a strong backlash from prominent figures in the tech and business communities, who argue that the legislation is both unconstitutional and harmful to the state's economic health.

It's the question of grabbing other people's hard work. The southern states have worked hard inspite of no support from the union govts for 75 years. Southern states have implemented social equality policies, Women empowerment, Inclusive growth and progressive schemes and it had propelled them and yeikded results. Now the northies who have the burecraric power are pushing north indian Hindi Speaking population into all jobs both govt jobs, psus and in private companies. This could be seen from the complete eradication and absense of south indians in govt jobs, psus and banks. Come to cities like chennai, bangalore or Cochin and enter a bank you will find only the northies. They don't speak our langauge

I have been here for past 14 years and This is a problem, it feels like in our own country, citizens have to fight employment as per their language. Working in Multi linguistic environment makes us learn different cultures and languages but I guess this is Congress that wants to divide ppl based on language in own country.
Also one rule shocked me that if we need building license in Bangalore, you have to pay 1 % of construction estimation. Why this loot??? After taking so much tax, Karnataka govt couldn’t make good infrastructure and then how can they present such bill
