I love working with mini gt. Just fun to take apart. Even for a simple wheel swap like I've done when putting on a set of Carlomo wheels. Most minigt wheels are terrible looking to me, but the Kaido house cars have amazing wheels. For the rear tail lights you could use uv cure resin to fill them in as taillights. Paint then fill with the uv resin, and cure the resin. Or also the hobby glue people use to create windows for homes. I have a bottle that I'll look up the name of when I'm able. That glue works really well too. Can paint or add decals to the bucket then cover with the glue. It dries clear with a glass look to it.
Yep, those are all other options for the taillights. I'm gonna try a plastic safe stripper first. Then if I have to make some. Just a bummer, they aren't in with the little pins like the sedan.
@@joesrustshop4509 yeah it is nice knowing they're not pinned in now at least. I wonder how their 83 chevy will be. I'm using citristrip currently on some wheels that were spray painted. I bought a custom off Ebay because I loved the red color used, but the person lined everything in silver pen and spray painted the wheels. Going to strip and repaint bronze. I removed most of the silver with acetone but it messed up the red a little. And there is no clear on the car apparently. Time to cross my fingers and sand then clear coat.
The citrus strip us good, there's also ELO easy lift off, it's plastic safe. So is brake fluid, and easy off oven cleaner. And I've read about a few others.

I wish I knew. It was in a mini screw driver kit I had. The label is missing.
