I always thought Souvenirs was the sequel to this....I wish it would have been recorded for WttN, following this on the track listing....such a powerful song; and to anyone who has loved someone more than the pain in knowing what they did in the dark, will know exactly what this song is about...I salute you
why did any songs from the neighbourhood tour did not make it on the Live Around The World Album i hope one day they rerelease this excellent live album with songs from that tour
Another classic...I was kind of...not disappointed, but I always felt that the version of this song on Welcome to the Neighbourhood was a bit of a missed opportunity. The live versions of it - particularly Brussels and Glasgow - are much, much better. Love that you're sharing these with us, WL. Thank you.
I feel Jim's album version is so underrated. To my mind he foud the right mix between rage, heartbreak and tenderness. Lauren Bradley's version is great, too.
No he’s not and as I’m sure u know he performed vocally on many Meat Loaf recordings I have no idea where to find the album. Didn’t even know there was one. He did have a decent voice and was a little jealous of Meat for getting all the attention! Have u tried eBay? They’d come closer than anything else I can think of. If u find one, please let me know
I've got the bad for good album, Jim's voice is not so harsh as meats, but it's so full of emotion and after listening to this version I've got to say that in my opinion Jim's version is by far the best, just saying.
Is is just me or is the version on NEIGHBORHOOD actually amazing faithful and soulful. Although Jim did not produce it, like SURFS UP and ORIGINAL SIN, it seemed to be carried out in the Steinman way - do you guys disagree - I think SIN, SURFS UP and LEFT IN THE DARK are very good versions on their respective CDs.
Dear Mr WarioLoaf!!! I was thinking: or u saw any Meat Loaf gig all around the world or....u simply wprked for them, hadnt u? Sorry, i was just curious and THANK for all the videos, music that u post!!! hes my fave since 1994!!!
at what point is Meat 'murdering' this?? seriously, do u go to live gigs or just ones who mime??? Sorry, can't agree. Yes, there is an echo but this is becoz the audio is from a live soundboard. Murder??? Only upon u mate!!!!
like they say true beauty comes from inside. you need to convince me and the world that you have at least some beauty for at the moment it don't look good with your ugly words. lets have a picture so that we can all be amazed at what real beauty truly is
Meat was made to sing Steinman... although this is a pretty shit show from him. Get in the studio and make it sound amazing you bastards. Law suits and having a go at each other... Steinman made Meat and he made Steinman.. .
Meatloaf may you rest in in peace in Paradise a true international treasure
Saw it in Stuttgart, i´ll never forget this performance...thank you Meat Loaf, for beeing an unforgettable part of my life

He definitely isn’t bad. Are you talking about his Bad For Good album? I’ve seen it on Amazon and EBay mostly.

because they are written by Jim
I agree with you
@@danielshakesheff682 Sure but there are some Jim songs not produced well.
@@MisterDavidWeinstein Tyce Green - Hero is the prime example.
@@MLBFCollection Do you mean holding out for a hero?
The song was written in 1980 actually, not 96
