The notion that any of us would be able to strike with Saenchai is laughable...I have 3+ years of muay thai experience and I get destroyed by talented amateurs regularly. This man is one of the greatest to ever do it. Believe me I know how casual Saenchai looks in there, but that is an act. The dude is a straight up murderer!
It's not an honorable representation of your gym to not engage with your opponent. He's lucky Seanchai is a merciful man, and didn't hurt him. But his coach is going to be very angry that he didn't give it his all.
Saenchai is very experienced and skillful. But unfortunately, his show off and not taking serious precautions against his foes are his ultimate downfall !

Saenchai fought hundreds of times and the fact that now at 40 he is still fighting should make you think something. "As always" what? Saenchai fought some of the toughest athletes in the history of the sport.
Its not that bad, the tall guy is not skilled as saenchai , and he didnt had a chance, he did the best move that he could do, try to be close to saenchai and use his elbows.
Great fighter and great skill but there should be no comedy in Muay Thai. Beyond that, what he showcases is how truly unprepared the supposedly equal Muay Thai stylist competition is.
Why no comedy in Muay Thai? Thai people are often very happy and joyful, this fight is a joke in itself, the opponent has'nt got the level needed, so i believe Saenchai did a good move (let's say many good moves).
he's already beaten all of the best fighters in the world, many times over, you are witnessing a legend, just be glad you have the opportunity to see him fight.
Saenchai is such a boring fighter to watch with no killer instinct unlike other Thai fighters with knock out punches. Dance around only to take on inexperienced fighters to win some quick bucks 👎👎👎

I am older than you and just began grappling not too long ago. No reason in your 30s you should not still be in some of your best shape, injuries notwithstanding. If you find a good gym go for it, but pace yourself at the beginning. Good luck with your training!

I am not okay with being the middle aged, overweight desk jockey that my job seems to push me to be. The discovery of muay thai has really given me the motivation to find physical strength, and I’m gladly taking it with me into my 40s. Plus, if you’re not a runner (I’m terrible at running), the bag work and the pad work is a massive calorie burner.
@@JonahsWail I started muay thai at 31 aprox (although I did karate in my teenage years) Just start, you won´t regret. You can always start, age is not an issue.
