Hi, I just got an rs3m v5. Do you have any recomendations on what tensions and settings that I should use because I don't have any lube? If not, could you just tell me what the settings you have it on? Thanks, your solves were really good, keep up the good work!
Sup. I know you commented this a while ago and you probably found a good setting for you but here are my suggestions.
Since OOTB the cube's corner cutting isn't the best due to the tight screw setting, you gotta unscrew it a little bit to increase the screw depth and improve the corner cutting. Other than that, since I feel like the cube is too fast OOTB, I set the spring compression up to 4~6 clicks to make it more controllable.

As for the magnets I just pulled them off my very large spare magnet stack I've collected over the years.
My best guess is that they're from the mgc4
For stacking magnets it doesn't matter to much what you use
Rs3 + magnet kit should work just fine

the cube is pretty controllable, the magnets will probably be fine for most people.
I just like the slightly stronger magnets.
Haven't come across any issues
No loose magnets or any other QC issues

Yes, it's a great cube.
The Weilong V9 is also a good choice if you want stronger magnets.

No they are weaker
The ys3 is more square, blocky and all around has a denser and more stable feeling.
The v5 is lighter, has weaker magnets and rounder feel.
They're both good, just for different turning styles

Do you like the v5 more than gan 12?
The Gan12 is undoubtedly a great cube, I just struggle to control it most of the time.
The V5 it far easier for me to use, as it fits my turning style much better.
Keep in mind they are very different cubes
