It’s a really nice feel good story. I’m especially happy to see the focus on tree restoration. As an arborist/Tree lover I know it would be important to have the canopy coming back. God truly blesses those that love ❤️

I go to Burns park almost every day to walk my dogs and hike, would stop by the dog park as well and talk with the usual lot that also visit there. After the tornado, most of the park was shut down but the dog park was still up so I would continue to go there but little to no one showed up anymore at the dog park, felt heartbreaking not seeing some of the people there anymore and seeing the massive amount of damage done to the park. Driving through it with the park being fully open again...near the river area where the soccer fields are at...its just sad looking at all the trees gone and the old beautiful walking path that went through them. There is some light to it though, some of that area is now growing a bunch of wild flowers which look beautiful!
