Trance wasn't really mainstream. it was big in Europe but never mainstream

There is more substance to Tiesto's old work than many of his latest stuff.
one of the reason why classic trance like this is so epic and classic is because of the camera man. They know how to shoot from different perspective to let the viewer feel that they are in it. Its completely different from all the festivals nowadays

A lot of people attack and criticize this guy just cus he continues evolving his music to a newer generation but no one cant deny this guy pushed DJing to the next level and opened doors for a new generation of DJs. Also, he catapulted to fame way faster than any other DJs in history and played all over the world.

That is my favourite track from my favourite trance album/dvd of all time. Tiesto in the earlier days was epic. In search of sunrise 1 & 2 were also brilliant. Sadly like so many other great artists he/they went too commercial. I suppose it's hard not to with shed loads of money hung over them to churn out volume over substance....
