    Thank you bro. I am having a SS stove (Surya) which is 35 years old..Of late we had low flame problem and I bought a new one- glass top...3 burners ..auto
    ignition...worked well for one year...but the gas inlet tube got
    broken while fixing the rubber tube..As I was searching TH-cam, saw your video and
    my old stove is almost same as what you demonstrated..I just followed your instructions in cleaning the parts and when I I tried it works very well..
    So your video has given a new
    lease of life to the old stove and saved me money..
    Thank you 😊

    2 thumbs up.This video saved me money of buying new gas stove. Recently i was having problem of low flame on my single burner steel gas stove. I tried the usual pin method to clean the gas orifice. But it solved the problem temporarily for a few days only. Then it is low flame again. So, i was thinking of buying new gas stove. After watching this video, i completely cleaned the gas stove parts and now my gas flame is high. Thank you.

      the difference is just in the igniter. cleaning the tip is enough else need to identify the ignition type and replace it.

    because it is a taper fit, and a soft brass part.. you can take some fine emory cloth and polish the valve which is worn, and quite possibly re-use it. the inside of the valve body will also be worn in a similar way... so some polishing there would be good. Clean everything very well before putting it back together. A simple tea cup will hold your parts, keeping them clean, and freeing up your hands to work.

      May be i had left a few names like controller knob. When we remove we need to watch and remember how we removed. Group the screws on a separate paper. True with assembling that some washers placement and burner seating must be checked but nothing is dangerous in cleaning to the level i had explained. Next time when i clean let me make one video keeping in mind the important checks to be done. Generally there is no difficulty in assembling but let me share.

    Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skill. Whether nozzle thread fixing, any thread sealing agent is used in case of cooking gas ?

    • @ayyamperumalr
      @ayyamperumalr  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes sealant is used when the total controller from the main pipe is changed, that i had explained at the end of the video.
      . For removing or cleaning the jet as i do in the video we don't need any sealant when we screw back.

    Which kind of cleaning material used to nozzles?is any problem if any nozzle MIS fited instead of it's original place? (I,e, right side nozzle fitted in left side.)

    • @ayyamperumalr
      @ayyamperumalr  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      We can use kerosene or just with soup water and a pin. When you say Nozzle i think you are talking about gas stove Jet which has a tiny hole to release gas to burner.
      It is not good to interchange the jets because in some gas stove the left burner size is bigger than the right side burner size as in my video. Even if you had interchanged by mistake you can find it with the help of the flame in each burner. The bigger burner may not glow well. So It is good not to interchange the nozzle or jet.

    Thanks for the info. One of my gas knob does not move. It is dead stuck. What should I do?

    • @ayyamperumalr
      @ayyamperumalr  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sometimes it is hard if the knob is touching the body. If the knob is hard to rotate after sometime of usage and when cold it is smooth, then you need to correct the placement of burner. The burner end touching the jet transfers heat of the burner to the controller jet.
      watch the video at 1.05 the min. You can see the burner that is around the controller and should not touch.
      If it touches and transfers heat then the copper controller expands and is hard to turn when we are using the stove . Try checking (y)

    Thank you for the video.i think my stove had the jet replaced when I had a pipeline connection.Now when I got the Log cylinder connection, the stove's sim gives greater flame, that is I get high flames all the time. Sir can you give me a solution for this. Is replacing the jet enough or should I replace the whole valve?is jet available in market?

    • @ayyamperumalr
      @ayyamperumalr  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Now with the cylinder if your sim flame and high flame has some difference, your jet change will correct it BUT if your flame is same at sim and at high then the jet is not the problem but the regulator that controls from sim to high.
      Yes jets are available with few sizes in the local gas stove shop. Need to take your jet to see the type of jet. You can check the change in hole size seeing through it. Good day.

    • @cyrilcbis
      @cyrilcbis 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ayyamperumalr Thank you for the reply Sir.The flame sim is lesser than in High but not like it should be ideally.It results in excessive burning of utensils.I changed the jet but the problem is persisting.

    • @ayyamperumalr
      @ayyamperumalr  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@cyrilcbis at 4.18 th minute of the video you can see the valve that helps to regulate the gas flow into the burner. The part as shown in 8.05 th min, If you get the inner valve part with smaller hole you can try changing.
      Replacing removing the total valve is not advisable , as there are chances of leakage. Try with a lower size jet or valve else give to the service person. Good day.

    • @ayyamperumalr
