You ever just FIEND for some hard hitting beat? I'm always busy lately running the shop and pumping out SMD products in my little factory. So it is very hard to find time to enjoy my projects. But when i get a chance i just love it. Upgrading to this 14v battery bank (charging at 17v) made a big difference in how aggressive and violent the system sounds. I have more stuff coming soon. If you have been following the Yukon build (2 24" subs etc), just to let you know, we had some check engine lights to deal with so we were having a hard time registering it. It's all done now i am picking it up at the dealer tomorrow. I will be getting back on it ASAP. I didn't want to load that thing up with all that music with it having SMOG issues. its been a long minute since I last saw the tahoe working, I cant even remember when you re work the trim on the box and the rack since you swapped to a 14V system, I cannot belive the entire setup still looks as if it was finished yesterday. Is easy to tell when someone takes great pride on what they do. happy father's day and keep the great work.

I would go ahead and set your gains again. There's no telling if your new head unit clips at a different volume level compared to your old radio. Or maybe it doesn't clip at all? I rather play it safe. This is why I love my DD1 because I'll just pop a test tone in and tune on the fly. I've tuned so many systems with this product, it owes me nothing!
that style of rear hatch...it isnt possible to tighten it up right? youll just pop the rear glass or something....🤔 never had thoughts to build yourself an actual extreme tank anytime whenever...
Steve I know what you mean with your box and setup. I prefer my sub up port back in my old s10 blazer doing 152@30 on the dash sealed. People here it and say Man thats violent when it hits the sweet spot in my limited bandwidth.

I would go ahead and set your gains again. There's no telling if your new head unit clips at a different volume level compared to your old radio. Or maybe it doesn't clip at all? I know a guy that drilled in-between the glass and hatch and put washers there to help secure the back glass. A little ghetto but it worked well
