- Roman Catholics pray and invoke St. Jude when in desperate situations. His letter in the New Testament stresses that the faithful should persevere in the environment of harsh, difficult circumstances - he died a martyr defending the word of God; therefore, he is the patron saint of desperate cases.
Most Famous Catholic prayer to Saint Jude is:
"O most holy apostle, Saint Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes thee universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, and of things almost despaired of. Pray for me, who am so miserable.
"Make use, I implore thee, of that particular privilege accorded to thee, to bring visible and speedy help where help was almost despaired of. Come to mine assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolation and succor of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly (here make your request) and that I may praise God with thee and all the elect throughout eternity.

I have prayed to St Jude in moments of time when I was in very desperate positions and I truly believe he hears and provides the recourse we seek. I make sure yo only seek his intercession when things are really not in my control but I always smile when I see a picture of him because he always comes through in my petitions.

Oh most beloved St. Jude. My mother always had great devotion to you are her life. When she passed recently, I made a promise to you in her name to bring great devotion to you to all people who in this most turbulent times need to remember you are there as a most powerful Saint to bring hope to the hopeless. I purchased a most beautiful statue and plinth for you, to place in our church. To be donated anonymously...but our priest rejected your statue. He said he had other people who want to place their "personal" statues in the church and did not want show favoritism. He prefers to place you in a inconspicuous place e on the church grounds...and no plinth. I pray for this priest who, because of public pressure and fear of confrontation, has rejected you and refused to place you inside the church, where by the way, has hardly any statues of saints. But I pray, that you and the holy spirit show my a way to bring you to all people. Amen.

My l was life was saved by intervention,and the surgical precision with a St. Jude Valve.Since this happened I had a Saint Jude Valve replacement and here I am at 71y.o. Saint Jude with ,Mother Mary have been my patron saints. St.Jude Hospital for children is also closest to my heart and my Valve . Amen🎉❤🎉🎉🎉🎉

Prayers for my husband... He was viciously attacked to the back of his head with a tire iron. Brooks Air Force Base medical center San Antonio May 14th 2023. We didn't know that both of us believed in same Saint Jude. It's not his fault that he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. We need each other. Please we just got each other.. don't matter what the outcome is always be there to take care of him always. Duty of l wife to be with your husband.... Health or bad health. So many tears so so many tears. Both of us have cried so many tears with nobody knows what we are going thru only God knows ....
