    How can there be defendants here without legal counsel? At this stage the defending teams should all be ready, knowing their clients and the evidence against them. This is outrageous.

    • @amounifnd
      @amounifnd 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I assume its because there are like over 20 defendants and YT could be paying them all ? This is a Sham trial and YT needs to be released. Its a circus. There is no benefit for the people from this case. Its pure politics.

      @@mubarakrasul Yeah, but we have some of the defendants already taking pleas... Meanwhile there are defendants who don't even have legal representation. Even if they are given lawyers right now, these new lawyers will have to learn about the case before the 9th January, with all the holidays in the middle. This case has been delayed for years, but now the state is in a hurry and can't wait for all the defendants to have representation?.

    • @mubarakrasul
      @mubarakrasul 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LisaSimpsonRules If their circumstances weren't so malignant maybe more attorneys would rush to help / Pro Bono. You do realize multiple people were murdered? So far the evidence presented is pretty believable. Like you said several Defendants plead guilty and implicated the others on trial. I don't think any attorney is telling their client not guilty is an option. They're throwing things up against the wall; hoping grounds to appeal will emerge .

      @@realisticallyrandom It is crazy what is happening in this case. If you remember, at the beginning, some of the lawyers wanted out because they were not being paid enough. The judge gets paid at the end of every month, but apparently these lawyers don't. At this point we are looking at a 3-year trial. I also wonder: what lifestyles do these jurors have that they don't need to work or go on holidays?

      @@surpriseimblack My comment, which is an ext. of a previous comment, spoke to Sue Opper's preparation and professionalism. My comment didn't reference her victorious outcome b/c we all know the evidence was overwhelming. My comment served to highlight that she was well-prepared, even with mountains of evidence and all the odds against the defendant. There were no issues of her being ill-prepared to deal with simple things like technology issues. In this case, the prosecutor knew she wanted to play the audio from several jail calls. She should have been prepared; that includes having back-up supplies available as well. No excuses.

      As I said, I have been more impressed with the lawyers in general than with the prosecution. At least all the defending attorneys have prepared their cases, are knowledgeable and are ready to present and defend motions that make sense. In my head, I am comparing every single one of them with Andino Reynal, (Alex Jones' lawyer in his first case) , who was a disgrace of a lazy lawyer. Apparently, thought that all he had to do was to show up in expensive bespoke suits, and couldn't bother to do any work at all. At least, all the lawyers here seem committed to defend their charges the best they know how. At least in my opinion.

    • @kevinhill24
      @kevinhill24 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Non sense and cumulative compounding by the prosecutors on the matter of charges and overt and underlying acts addressed via the offenses. And the defense attorneys are as Lisa said impressive, sharp and strategic/dynamics not allowing the state to have their way and inject things that booster the case outside what is logical, appropriate and meaningful to the case itself.

The gangs are usually smart enough to create a successful company, to help the community. Instead, they throw lead all over town. No concern as to how many or who can be killed or injured! And what will they get for their actions? A lifetime of showering with men, spending life without a woman, or watching another man raise your kids! I do think these guys would have been successful, had they made the choice to go that direction in life. Attorney's are idiots!

    This young DA with the light grey suit is really trying hard, but coming off as inept, IMO.🤷🏻‍♀️ Obviously you’ve got to start somewhere, but he’s got a lot of learning and experience to gain. He’s got some good arguments, but I’d like to see where he is in 10 years.

    For those of you all who being messy and ridiculous, first that man did and doing an excellent job with defending his client and make sure the judge knows and act accordingly.second due process, first amendment, sixth amendment one is the right to assembly and freedom of speech among other things, the other is the right to fair and speedy trial with an impartial jury which is to come and the judge himself needs be so as well and he uses citations of law to skit around until he called out to change his tune and this case once over will be revised due his open bias and non sense he is a sharp, fair and grounded as many of you all unfortunately believes that he is btw he is a former probation officer and state prosecutor for Fulton and Dekalb countries here in Georgia.

    I'm so shocked that the State didn't send its best and brightest for a RICO of this magnitude (or that of even the smallest magnitude) that will be broadcasted, LIVE streamed, and re-watched all around the world.
    FYI: we know there's no measurement of accuracy for qualitative testing. I can see the end already. I'll get the bet board ready.

      Jurors are the only ones who can’t discuss the case outside of deliberation. I haven’t watched this whole video yet but it doesn’t appear they’ve even seated a jury yet.
      Witnesses are usually asked not to discuss their testimony with other witnesses though, maybe that’s what you’re referring to.

    • @Materialgirl_3
      @Materialgirl_3 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’m highly confused about your comment. The only people in the courtroom that are not allowed to discuss the case are the jurors. I don’t even think the trial has started yet

    • @LisaSimpsonRules
      @LisaSimpsonRules 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The jury hasn't been selected yet. Here we are still at pre-trial. They are just accepting or rejecting expert witnesses. They are not even discussing the evidence of these experts. Just checking that they are actual experts as they're purported to be.
