I also watch for Ying. She's like an elusive gazelle one hopes to see on the video. I think she sometimes translates for Mark who does have his own skill communicating in Thailand. When they are in Muslim places she knows her place, which is to be as unobtrusive as possible. She and Mark are well suited; she lets him be the star and patiently waits. She IS a gem; a valuable jewel and I hope Mark always remembers that. She never looked more beautiful than she does in this video (except probably on their wedding day. I'm a Ying fan! She's the best dish in the place!

I smiled at their different clothes styles in this video , and I think it was extra noticeable in this video because Ying looked so very beautiful and seemed like she had dressed up for the occasion; a child free date night at this nice restaurant. I think Mark is quite aware of when he is wearing his own t-shirts and when not. I have noticed that when he is on sponsored or official events or even joining someone else's videos, he sometimes wears something more neutral.

I hate to contradict but there are plenty of tofu and yuba (bean curd skin) restaurants that do omakase style course meals in Japan, especially around Kyoto. Not too common because its usually on the expensive side. I was surprised with the quality seen here though (in a good way).
You make foods I think I’d never try look soooooo delicious!!! I don’t like tofu so much but looking at you & Ying eat it thru all the courses makes me want to try it again!!! 👍🏽
I loved this video! I lived in Japan for 14 years, but never had any tofu dishes like the ones you tried, but I can imagine! Tofu is such a delicate palate to work with. Lucky for you both to have tried these!
