Both of these games I consider good games, just a shame there wasnt more work put into them. The transition skating in both games is absolutely horrendous. It might be time to explore a transition only skate game if the limitations lie with control mappings and style of stick use. I would play that for sure.
The sounds and weight of session is subtle, but once you put them side by side its clearly a league above
Skater xl looks like a mobile game and session looks like skate 2 remastered

Session is far better. They desperately need to add more customization options for your attire though!

Skater xl with mods feels better but session just a better game in general imo

I used default settings
sxl without mods is unplayable but with mods its leagues better than session
