The Type 63 tier 8 premium's gun bounces like this too when the suspension kicks in. It's infuriating when you think you have the shot lined up and it sends the shell 5m above the target! But it wouldn't be WOT if it wasn't infuriating 😆
Seeing how much the hydropneumatic suspension is messing up your shots diminishes any interest in this tank for me. I would get way too frustrated constantly missing easy shots and the gun boucing like the tank in on a trampoline. The udes also has this problem but it doesnt seem to happen nearly as much as on this tank.
I am struggling to see much point over the STB-1 or Super Conq to be honest, you have a trash upper plate anyway so can only really play perfectly hull down, even -12 your hull or driver port is going to penned. The accuracy thing is gimmicky, a nice to have occasionally but an STB-1 is spitting shells every 5s so doesn't care about the misses so much and a SC is decently accurate anyway. Then it seems to have the suspension awkwardness anyway with jumpiness, which STB-1 seems to be impacted by less for some reason. Then you have Super Conq level mobility anyway. If I want -12 gun depression, that is a bit awkward to use, and decent turret than just play STB-1 and get the DPM, mobility and camo as well. If you want a solid hull down heavy that is accurate, then just get a SC, you lose 2 degrees of gun depression (but its way easier to use) and a bit of accuracy (but have it all the time) and keep the DPM and have a better turret and hull. It almost to me seems like the worst aspects of an STB-1 and Super Conq that occasionally has Leo 1 accuracy. Definitely has a whiff of Concept 5 compared to Leo 1 about it where there is an obviously better tech tree tank that does the same role just better in most ways.
well, tbf, if you really think like "what's the point of getting the tank 'cause there are some who do it better", you'll stick to 4-5 tanks and that's it lmao. I like the tankline, but the playstyle really changes at the tier 10 You swap armour for speed and a snappier gun, rather than doubling down on the armour and keeping the gun handling locked behind the cooling mechanic. I like the line, but the tier 10 doesn't look like it's for me

ah not really,for strv u need to completely stop and wait for 2s to change between mode,meanwhile type 71 it will instantly be activated the moment u are under the speed limit which albeit is 10kmh but thats better than gotta stop completely and wait for 2s,and it doesnt really limit u,like u dont get a *hard* speed limit which make u gotta wait 2s to switch back,u will able to have just the normal mobility even if the hydraulic is activated also,-7 deg is kinda enough so e h

Just point the gun barrel as far down as you can as you go up to a ridge line, then your tank will be ‘hydraulically’ depressed as much as it can be and you can adjust when you poke

Only reason why i despise hydraulic system tanks, it can be so annoying with the gun bounce. Maybe they could allow you to bind the hydraulic angle to scroll wheel, so you can manually lock the tank at max angle
The way i understand it, it's not the gun jumping up and down. Let's say you have a default of -8 degree, and are trying to use a hulldown pos that requires more that -8. When the mechanic kicks in, it tilts your tank forward to create more depression,. Your camera, which was trying to reach maximum depression of -12, goes down along with the tilt, This causes your gun, which was at -8 degree, appears like it jump up when in fact it's your camera going down to -12 then your gun follows afterward. The core issue (imo) is how the tank constantly goes in and out of hydropneumatics suspension mechanic to keep up with player's adjustment. Strv td line does not have this problem because you manually go in and out of the mechanic, while on this one, stb or udes it;s automatic.
What do I think about the Type71... Stupidly thin frontal armor. Give it double the frontal thickness on the hull and it would actually be playable. As it stands now it's a TD, not a heavy... tier 10 Skorpion. Play it as a rear line sniper you'll win. Get aggressive you will die.
will it be more powerful than super conq? compare to super conq, speed is better gun dep. is better and armor is quite weird but also almost un penable when hull downed. as there is some significant weak spots like front armor and cupola compare to conq., but how do u guys think? for me if u play it as heavy o meddium-like is each situation it will be better than conq....
when playing with udes/type/stb that reticle bounce is so annoying when engaging the suspension, same as the bounce when shooting a tank on top of a hill, its so bullshit

Pr. 68 or (The Dune) Tank And it's not really the gun that bounces, It's you holding the gun steady while the rear Suspension keeps adjusting up and down to try to get that depression ya want... seems to happen with all the tanks (more or Less) to some degree that have the Auto adjusting Suspension... Was hoping they somehow fixed/patched that out by now, They had awhile now to work on it... And if they can't then switch to the activatable type *shrug* Might just be stuck with it ? Thanks Again
I have less problems with the bouncing. I have an internet connection that will have 20-30 ping jumps so it has trained in me an aversion to peek-a-boom. I automatically try and factor in a .25 second lag when I try and snipe. If I had a better connection, it would be lowering my DPM but my acc is still in the 70% range even with my poor connection. I find the playstyle of this line enjoyable.
You have a great skill sir,. I think that type 71 is great, only thing that bothers me is weak spot on top of cupola..ok on ridge line probably is not so visible..i have a hunch that the best in the line will be tier 9 as always:D
I can’t stand hydrolic suspension in this game. It’s so messy to aim. Stanlox have this good technical to lock your target using left click so it kinda diminish the hydrolic suspension effect but still, I don’t like it.
Blitz version is literally different version U got same speed as other tier X heavy Gun that are same as other 120 heavy Reload that are the same as other but got hull that if angled bounce the 183 gun
And that's what I call a balanced tank (by the impression of it cause I haven't played it yet), it has an unique mechanic that makes the game a bit more fun and makes you adapt to the old irritating suspension mechanism. On the other hand you have dpm about which I was mostly concerned about and good turret armour. Having a coupola is a part of a gameplay and what matters is when not to show it and how to hide it. If the tank was better people would start to whine about it being op and now they call it bad, you will never find the way to fulfil they desire which they can not even specify themselves. The same was witch bz75 and somehow it has many enjoyers at the end of the day.

With an sconq in the game, it makes zero sense to grind this tank. Even if the sconq was nerfed (classical wg "nerf", +0.5 sec reload, slightly worth stab stats) it would still be better, because the gun is almost the same, even ammo loadout is the same (ap + apcr), plus better he shells on sconq, armor wise it is also better, because of the OP cupola shape/armor, much better hull armor, and the most important advantage, is that you have 10 degrees of gun depression without annoying suspension mechanic. I don't know why they are introducing another hull down tank which is a lesser chief/sconq
id rather just play STB or S. Conq. If they gave this tank a better upper plate (by maybe 20-25%), and more speed (40 base), it would be much better IMO. Idk tho, we'll see when it hits live.
idk what wg fucked up with the siege modes lately but this gun bouncing wasnt present with the Udes 15/16 and the STB. But lately its a thing idk what happened. Some coding error for all I know

Someday WG release Adamantium tanks and Vibranium tanks and, They will release another special shell to penetrate the super tanks. They discard poorly performing tanks released in the past and only produce new ones that make money. In any case, don't relics of the past need performance improvement as they are products sold for money? WG STOP OP TANKS NO MORE! The most important thing is the improvement of matchmaking. The game is becoming increasingly boring due to random matching that is unrelated to the players' ratings. Type 71 tank is a degraded version of the S.conq, a weaker tank with only slightly better performance than the Type 5 H. In other words, it is waiting for a buff along with the type5H. Pity.
TBH, the hydro system on this tank and all the recent hydro tanks are all having issues, their unlock speed limits are set at a weird point leading to we have all this shitty bouncing tank which is not fun to play with at all.
This tank is so fvcking bad, it's possibly in the bottom 5 heavy tanks. Many of us were crying to WG on tze Discord server to buff it. They didn't even fix the buggy suspension. Shitty dev team.
Oh, sorry, you were probably talking about a vicious smile. These decals should be available during some emblems/camo sales, that happen from time to time. Maybe, they are even available all the time, can't say for sure

I think a accuracy system that depends on the movement of the gun instead of just randomly shooting off at a weird angle is a big improvement.

wargaming is getting a bit confused, irl type 71 is actually the stb-1 thats in the game, but they smoking dope so they ''know better'', but this mechanic is going to be really have a bad effect on the game, now players with this tank gets rewarded for camping

Someday WG release Adamantium tanks and Vibranium tanks and, They will release another special shell to penetrate the super tanks. They discard poorly performing tanks released in the past and only produce new ones that make money.

The most important thing is the improvement of matchmaking. The game is becoming increasingly boring due to random matching that is unrelated to the players' ratings.
Compared to LoL, the biggest problem is that matches are made randomly without any restrictions between the 10th tier Iron class, Grandmaster, and Challenger classes that have just started. If WG do not improve these chronic problems, gamers will leave.

I think that the aim bouncing up and down is NOT intended, imo.
Type 71 tank is a degraded version of the S.conq, a weaker tank with only slightly better performance than the Type 5 H. In other words, it is waiting for a buff along with the type5H. Pity.

TBH, the hydro system on this tank and all the recent hydro tanks are all having issues, their unlock speed limits are set at a weird point leading to we have all this shitty bouncing tank which is not fun to play with at all.

Problem with this tank, that makes it boring, is 0,42 base dispersion and 35kmh forward…. They could do better job, in ballance,….

This tank is so fvcking bad, it's possibly in the bottom 5 heavy tanks. Many of us were crying to WG on tze Discord server to buff it. They didn't even fix the buggy suspension. Shitty dev team.

Oh, sorry, you were probably talking about a vicious smile. These decals should be available during some emblems/camo sales, that happen from time to time. Maybe, they are even available all the time, can't say for sure

@@jakubmarszaek9892 The jumping gun "mechanic" has always been in the game and if you've got experience with the STB and UDES, this tank is basically a heavier version of that, which i think is fine.
Just got mine, seems like a turd, armour is full of weak spots, the tier 8 and 9 seem to have much better armour.
