The decision that changed the game was the decision of your player to kick away the ball having already been booked. What did he think the ref would do? He booked madden in first half for the same thing. If I was a donny fan I would be fuming at him not the ref.
all game the referee was one sided, i never really complain about officiating, but that was abismal, wtf id the linesman changing his mind about on offsides and why are penalties not being given to both sides. it was truest dreadful i can agree we didn’t deserve to win and we deserved to lose but they doesn’t strip our right to be livid at the circumstances the team were playing under for moleneux, idiot for kicking the ball cool, i agree but i still am yet to find out why anderson got a red. and still yet to understand why the free kick for the first goal was given. changed the dynamic of an entire game. utterly dreadful
@@Fadezz let's assume you are not trolling and let me answer. The first red card was down to a player being stupid. Ref showed he was gonna book for kicking ball away when he booked madden in first half. Nothing to do with ref this it was your player being stupid. The penalty was a bit unlucky with the bounce but his arm was miles from body and he controlled ball allowing him to clear it. gained an advantage. Penalty 100%. Cannot comment on the straight red as it was too far away but some people closer said he grabbed dunkley by the throat. if true then red ( game was done by then ). I saw the linesman twice flag for offside against us then put his flag down. First time he flagged then obviously realised that Madden jumped for the ball but got zero contact and the header came off the Donny defender ( which it clearly did ). He should never have flagged but having done so he was right to put his flag back down. Second time he flagged for offside but the player he flagged as offside immediately stopped and never got near the ball. Again he shouldn't have flagged initially but having done so putting his flag down was again correct. I know a lot of you want to villainise the ref but he got all the main decisions correct ( unless you are gonna ignore the clear video evidence ) and yes he gave us a lot of free kicks ( because our players kept beating you for pace and getting fouled ). I have seen some dire refs this year and I mean dire not biased. Giving awful decisions in both directions. This ref wasn't dreadful but he was very picky. I am sure people see what they want to see and will continue to blame the ref. If that helps them sleep at night go for it but the video doesn't agree.
What a game. It started with Doncaster on top for the first 7 minutes and then Chesterfield grew into the game and was the better side for the majority of the game. However, some key decisions changed the game. Firstly, the free kick awarded, which resulted in a great cross for Chesterfield's first goal was never a free kick. As for Molyneu's red card, he cannot argue and he will have to learn to curb his frustration with the officials. I can't argue either with the penalty for Chesterfield but once again, the officials failed to notice a handball, in the Chesterfield penalty area reinforcing the 2-tier refereeing we saw today. Unable to comment on Anderson's straight red as I didn't see it. Overall, it was a good display from Chesterfield, a poor day at the office for the Rovers and some of the worst refereeing I've seen for a long time.
The free kick on Mandy wasn't a free kick. it was 3 free kicks. i have no idea which of the 3 fouls the ref gave it for but all them them were good candidates. He gave free kicks to both sides for anything like this all game. I didn't see and have not seen any video of the alledged handball at the other end and I know from experience that what you think you see on the day is often very different to what happens. We slated the lino at Port Vale for missing a clear offside for their goal...Only to see on the video it wasn't offside. I would be more annoyed at the players than the ref for losing their heads and making a bad situation much much worse
Just watched a clip from behind the goal. I was 90 percent sure it was a pen in real time. now 100%. so the ref got the pen and 2 red cards correct but he is crap apparantly.
Shut up you plank, if that was a chesterfield player you'd be screaming blue murder!! It bounced straight up and his hands are next to him!! He didn't give us a thing all day!!

Harsh hand ball? What tosh. It was right in front of me and was one of the clearest hand balls you'll ever see.
