This is the house my Pisces Moon is located! I really enjoyed your explanation of the disparity between the 12th and 1st house. The 12th being the last house where people seek far away lands in order to find themselves and how it comes together with the 1st house. Never thought of it that way, but with Jupiter being the original co-ruler of Pisces, it does make a lot of sense. I also can't wait for the rest of the water house series because I have planets in each of them, including a grand trine in water no less! My chart is overflooded with this element! I drown easily, but thankfully I have some earth to ground me.
I am really fascinated by water people in these houses! I feel like it must be difficult to separate the 12th from Pisces--because they're so similar. Yeah, I can relate to many with planets in their 12th, doesn't matter what sign it's in either. It's one of my favorite placements actually. When I see this in other's charts, I know they have something special in them. Even though planets in this house often prove to be most difficult for a person, I've found that these people can be some of the most incredibly strong and beautiful. I think the key to salvation for a 12th house person especially is through a spiritual significance. Your depiction of The Hermit card sums it up perfectly. I have done a lot of meditation and I still meditate from time to time. I've also done Native American sweat lodges , they not only purify but also put you in a different state of reality by raising your vibrations and this is done by putting your body in a space of suffering, probably some of the best spiritual experiences I've ever had.

I would totally do a sweat lodge. I hope I find one nearby! I had been invited to an ayahuasca ceremony but alas, I can’t do psychedelics at all. I don’t think I could ever come back down lol. I'm a Cancer Sun, cancer rising, cancer mercury with my sun in the 12th house. I also have mercury, jupiter, Gemini and chiron here. It can be difficult to navigate the murky waters of this house on a daily basis and most 12th house people struggle with being in reality and are always looking for a way to escape. My biggest escape is through music or when I'm in love as I can focus all of that emotion on someone else and I truly believe that this is when we're at our best, when we're giving ourselves to others. I have always believed that a life without love isn't really worth living but I've also found it hard to find people that I can truly connect with on that deep spiritual level. Funnily enough the 12th house is associated with foreign travel, but we also seem to attract people from foreign lands who help us along our spiritual /life journey. I attracted both a mentor and a spiritual teacher from foreign lands at a time when I really needed them. 12:33 i know this comment is very late after the upload date but i hope you see this. the experience you describe here is incredibly reminiscent of what i've learned about kundalini awakenings, and i'd highly recommend you read a book called serpent rising: the kundalini compendium by neven paar. it's the most rational analysis of this phenomenon i've ever seen, as it combines the scientific and spiritual approach. it's often in these times of deep despair that we become receptive to a new, spiritual energy that allows us to connect with divinity, whatever name you may call it by. i went through a "dark night of the soul" like this a couple years ago and was catatonic like how you described. i was like a zombie moving through my day-to-day life, present physically but i had completely receded into my mind. i unknowingly experienced a kundalini awakening a few months prior when i took LSD for the first time, which basically kickstarted a process of rapid spiritual transformation, which included a reset of my ego through that phase of catatonic depression, also related to an LSD experience. i think your fasting acted as a catalyst for the awakening, similarly to my psychedelic use. i'd highly encourage you to look more into the kundalini, as it's the most important spiritual truth we can become aware of. human beings are so much more than just animals; we're the angels of the third dimension, creating and organising the universe whilst fully immersed in physical reality, but we first must awaken to our role as co-creators before our job can be fulfilled. i don't know if you're already aware of the kundalini or not, but i'd say you're doing an excellent job sharing your astrological wisdom with us. :)

I have 4 planets in the 12th house. Sun, mercury, venus, and rahu (north node). I dream a lot. Don't know what it is but this year I have had more dreams then probably my whole life time. Even had some prophetic dreams that came true also. Funny you mention flying. I have had so many vivid dreams about plane crashes that I refuse to fly on an airplane. Even had one that showed the flight number and airline that crashed. I don't recommend anyone take that last option you mentioned. 12 house is the house of loss. Rob! I also said that I wouldn't recommend drugs, but that I do acknowledge their place in spiritual development for certain people. Certainly not for me because I have several 12th house planets and neptune on my AC, making me more prone to addictions. I wouldn't recommend it to people with similar energy. D: now I want to cut that out. I will see if I can. (I can see how psychedelic drugs could be useful for very grounded people who have trouble "leaving their body" more naturally.) The 1st on the 12th house are very similar in nature. The first house resembles a begining an explosion something just started the 12 house represents and ending an explosion to cease to exist here you finished your journey and its time to become one with all things. I have done a lot of meditation and I still meditate from time to time. I've also done Native American sweat lodges , they not only purify but also put you in a different state of reality by raising your vibrations and this is done by putting your body in a space of suffering, probably some of the best spiritual experiences I've ever had.

I'm a Cancer Sun, cancer rising, cancer mercury with my sun in the 12th house. I also have mercury, jupiter, Gemini and chiron here. It can be difficult to navigate the murky waters of this house on a daily basis and most 12th house people struggle with being in reality and are always looking for a way to escape. My biggest escape is through music or when I'm in love as I can focus all of that emotion on someone else and I truly believe that this is when we're at our best, when we're giving ourselves to others. I have always believed that a life without love isn't really worth living but I've also found it hard to find people that I can truly connect with on that deep spiritual level. Funnily enough the 12th house is associated with foreign travel, but we also seem to attract people from foreign lands who help us along our spiritual /life journey. I attracted both a mentor and a spiritual teacher from foreign lands at a time when I really needed them. We're very divinely guided and being a water sign I think I'm even more turned into my intuition and I can see the signs all around me. 11:11 is a repeating number I've seen for years and I believe it's my angels and guides letting me know they have my back. I have a Capricorn moon so a little bit of grounding energy amongst all the watery energy haha. I also find it extremely difficult in social situations to not take in the energies all around me, even when I'm not trying I'm absorbing everything. I have learned over time to put up healthier boundaries with people and for myself so that I can protect my own energy from the negative energies around me, but sometimes it isn't possible. There is so much I could say about my experience living this house but I'd be here all day. Music is my solace and it has helped me through a lot of dark times in my life. I'm sure other 12th house people can relate when I say that we listen to music on a whole other level and it is true medicine for our souls ❤️I guess it's no accident that I attract a lot of Saggitarius men either? I'm curious who you think would be the best match for a 12th house person? 12:33 i know this comment is very late after the upload date but i hope you see this. the experience you describe here is incredibly reminiscent of what i've learned about kundalini awakenings, and i'd highly recommend you read a book called serpent rising: the kundalini compendium by neven paar. it's the most rational analysis of this phenomenon i've ever seen, as it combines the scientific and spiritual approach.
it's often in these times of deep despair that we become receptive to a new, spiritual energy that allows us to connect with divinity, whatever name you may call it by. i went through a "dark night of the soul" like this a couple years ago and was catatonic like how you described. i was like a zombie moving through my day-to-day life, present physically but i had completely receded into my mind. i unknowingly experienced a kundalini awakening a few months prior when i took LSD for the first time, which basically kickstarted a process of rapid spiritual transformation, which included a reset of my ego through that phase of catatonic depression, also related to an LSD experience. i think your fasting acted as a catalyst for the awakening, similarly to my psychedelic use.
i'd highly encourage you to look more into the kundalini, as it's the most important spiritual truth we can become aware of. human beings are so much more than just animals; we're the angels of the third dimension, creating and organising the universe whilst fully immersed in physical reality, but we first must awaken to our role as co-creators before our job can be fulfilled. i don't know if you're already aware of the kundalini or not, but i'd say you're doing an excellent job sharing your astrological wisdom with us. :)

I have 4 planets in the 12th house. Sun, mercury, venus, and rahu (north node). I dream a lot. Don't know what it is but this year I have had more dreams then probably my whole life time. Even had some prophetic dreams that came true also. Funny you mention flying. I have had so many vivid dreams about plane crashes that I refuse to fly on an airplane. Even had one that showed the flight number and airline that crashed. I don't recommend anyone take that last option you mentioned. 12 house is the house of loss. You could lose your life taking that option. Overall a very insightful video except for the last part of the video's recommendation. Thank you for sharing your personal testimony.
Rob! I also said that I wouldn't recommend drugs, but that I do acknowledge their place in spiritual development for certain people. Certainly not for me because I have several 12th house planets and neptune on my AC, making me more prone to addictions. I wouldn't recommend it to people with similar energy. D: now I want to cut that out. I will see if I can. (I can see how psychedelic drugs could be useful for very grounded people who have trouble "leaving their body" more naturally.) My husband for example lol He would greatly benefit from drugs! haha

In all honesty, and i only speak for myself, but the reason for things like "fasting" or "mediation" cant and wont work for me
is because those things i have already experienced WAY TOO much and it always feels as if i am trying to ESCAPE and get AWAY from the 12th house.
