Lo Scarabeo has now reprinted the Sola Busca. I have a copy printed in April 2023 which has nice mat card stock and velvet inlay in the box. They will also be releasing a mini version in 2024.
Do you have the ISBN of the Lo Scarabeo reprinted Sola Busca version you said you bought which is matte? Because the Lo Scarabeo Sola Busca I just bought from Amazon is still shiny and glossy card stock, not matte. I am wondering if you bought an international edition?
@@seraphinajadeite Hi. Both versions have the same ISBN. I guess it’s a lottery. I also bought mine through Amazon UK. The box looks same. Mine was printed in April 2023. The ISBN ends in 169
Wonderful video. I hope you're able to get your hands on a copy of The Game of Saturn. I was lucky to find the paperback version (which is very well-made) awhile ago. I am a little less than halfway through it because Peter Mark Adams takes me down so many intriguing rabbit holes that I have to set the book aside to research out of curiosity ... neoplatonism, mythology, ancient Rome etc.
I just checked and no library is willing to part with it via ILL. Maybe I'll buy it at some point. All the books that Scarlet Imprint publishes are well made!

A mini version! That is exciting!

@@appleoak3589 thank you. I guess my search for my favorite Sola Busca version continues.
Great comparison! I like the colours of Museum version, and at the same time restored details of Anima Antiqua are important too for me. Tough choice.
Both are decent, but size seems to be a big factor for me for use. I can't handle huge cards...lol.

Very nice video comparisson. Thank you! 🥰
By the way, how about doing the same with all the Visconti's you have?
That’s a good idea. I think I’ve done something similar.
