- Just a minute long this time, and is a teaser for an updated version of the "Video Game Console Startup and Attract Mode Medley". Also this time there should be absolutely no stutter whatsoever.
I might also do a spinoff for Windows versions.

I was thinking just that! In the very late 80s to early 90s here in the UK there was a morning tv slot called "ITV SCHOOLS FOR CHANNEL 4" which in between programes showed an ident very reminiscent of this intro

I've seen a lot of bootup screens on different consoles that usually have a nostalgic "welcome" ding or chime, or some kind of "hello" jingle, but I've never seen one with a whole song in it!! This makes me want to get a console like this!
Also, this music sounds like the beginning to a really long old school JRPG that spans across three discs and has a character that breaks the fourth wall. I want to compose something like this for my own game...

I love how they demonstrate the capabilities of their duel sound chip audio by having the pcm sound chip play samples like strings, piano, and stuff, rather than relegating it to percussion instruments, like many compositions for duel fm/pcm sound chips seem to do.

This console honestly needs more love though as it was quite a revolutionary system with it being the first ever 32 bit games console, shame it never sold well and ended up being yet another member of 5th generation video game consoles no one actually remembers.

Pro Tip: The FM Towns Marty was the Baby steps of the 5th Gen consoles. Although it wasn't mostly 32-bit Until The Amiga CD32 Came in. It was the first console That was ACTUALLY 32-bit. It was a consolized A1200 Computer (Since most of the games are ports), Except more powerful
