The little thing with the thumb and forefinger pressed together, the other 3 fingers spread, and turning both hands was a little joke for men & women back in WW2 era called tune in Tokyo... It is mimicking the motion of turning the tuning knobs on a radio, very patriotic, but in the game, the man asks the naive lass to play "Tune In Tokyo" to "help the war" and she agrees. H has her hold her bent arms, hands clasped behind her head (the antenna), and then he reaches out and twists her nipples in the "tuning" leading to hijinks, and probably some of the baby-boom.
Haley Reinhart & Casey Abrams (upright bass) were contestants on American Idol 2011 and they both made their entry mark as great up and coming talents. Great reaction Bissy!
Dream On - Postmodern Jukebox ft. Morgan James (Aerosmith Cover) -th-cam.com/video/Yq4KA0mUnC8/w-d-xo.html Check out Morgan James's Channel - She has tons of covers of classic songs
this is the classic example of when music reaches straight to the heart, fueling the fire of joy and happiness; I thank Postmodern Jukebox who with their famous vintage style create these moments and I thank you above all BISS who have given us with your elegant musical research, this exciting video 🌺
I've never heard this song these ladies are amazing singers ilove that big band sound your really enjoyed it very cool, loved your reaction play more of this music if you can it makes you feel happy, and I luved all about that bass biscutey❤😊 I think biss is from heaven to
I absolutely loved this better than the original i think? Never herd of them before but honestly this was BRILLIANT!!! Thought you was going to make it quartet? As for favourite i don't think i could honestly pick one individually they sounded so good. Loved this one Biss. Great reaction as always❤
I'm all about the Biss bout the Biss no treble! Lol Agreed biss Hailey Rienhart is my fav. But I Also luv Morgan James the blonde girl. MJ has another song with PMJ. It's a cover called Maps by maroon5. Hope you give it a listen. Luv ya Biss!
Good morning Bisscutie! You're all treble, but you're the bee's knees anyway! These era songs, like Christina Aguilera's, are so entertaining! Love Meghan Trainer, but I hope she's over her Dr. Phil obsession.
Hello biss...this group is amazing..stunnig.....Gezzze🤪🤪...the blonder girl voice is amazing...is my favorite..😁😁😁....great video and great reaction as always...thanks biss...see you...🫶🫶🫶
Alright, this is going to be a weird one, but stick with me for a second. Just a random thought I had, but if you like these guys, you might want to check out a band called The Dustbowl Revival. They're not like a big famous band. I only even know about them because some years ago a friend had a 30s themed birthday party, and hired them as the band, but I've been friends with them on Facebook since, ha, and they tour around, have albums, and videos on TH-cam. I don't even know what song to recommend, but you might dig them. Just a little US history lesson for context, we had a huge economic crisis that's referred to as "The Great Depression", that started with the stock market collapsing in 1929, and basically continued until the beginning of World War 2, and increased production finally pulled us out of it. So, basically for about 10 years things were very lean, and the people that are usually poor, were very poor! In the middle of that, in the 30s, there was a thing called the "dust bowl", where basically a strip of land in the middle of the US up to Canada, was hit by tremendous winds that created dust storms that basically blew away the top soil of earth, and made it barren, so people couldn't grow crops, couldn't make money, lost their farms, and a lot of them went west to California in search of jobs picking fruit, or whatever. There's a great book/movie about it that you could check out called "The Grapes Of Wrath". The novel was written by John Steinbeck, who's a famous American author that's actually had a few of his novels made into movies, but this is probably the biggest one. It was directed by the great John Ford, who I think I've mentioned before, but is basically the grandfather of American film, and the great Henry Fonda that you saw in "12 Angry Men" was the star of it. Both the novel and film are considered American classics.
Halley is my favorite, of course. Ariana sounds just like her father, Telly Savalas, whose classic tagline was 'Who loves ya, baby? 'If you want another song that includes both Halley and Morgan, check out their 'Dear Prudence' video, which features their pure voices right at home, literally. 😊
Biss, been listening to them for a while now, too hard to pick a favorite, they are all great, but are they as good as the trio of Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris when they were performing together?
Hi Bisscute, may I please recommend a most beautiful song and singer for your reaction it’s Slow Down - Sissel (2019 Pioneer Concert with The Tabernacle Choir)...it has touched many hearts.Thank you
Their cover of Dream On is better than the original, and the original is a timeless classic. Even if you don't do a video on it, it's absolutely worth listening to: th-cam.com/video/Yq4KA0mUnC8/w-d-xo.html
I hate to disagree with you, but when it comes to singing, Basses is the Meat, Sopranos are the desert, and Tenors and Altos are the vegetables. Can't have a good meal with the vegetables, but lets face it, when I go out to dinner, I discuss the meat and the desert, not the vegetables.

It is crazy how music enters our soul and we feel like we have a personal connection with the artist(s) of our favorite songs.
The 1st female is Hayley Reinhart. She also was the singer of Creep.

Hayley is my favorite too!
She has a certain something that tickles my heart the right way.
I saw these guys in Cincinnati a few years ago… Also saw Morgan James (the blonde) when she swung through Cincy. She has some pipes. Very awesome.

Morgan James (the blonde one) and Haley Reinhart did a nice cover of The Beatles' "Dear Prudence".
Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox are on my Spotify favourites. There are so many gems.
I think it's time for Puddles the Clown. He is associated with PMJ. Has a duet with Hailey and does a great cover of royals.
Great choice for the reaction Miss Bisscute, loved it as usual.💓💓
Never heard of them before but they're kinda awesome. Cheers for introducing them to me.

I already knew I liked Hayley Reinhart but the blonde is no slouch herself. I'll have to look into her. I love seeing how happy music can make you.
Hey Bisscute, this sound is from the American Big Band Era during WW2 and the 1940’s. Happy New Year.
Hey,Biss! ❤👋
It's great to see you love music as much as i do! 😊
Yeap. It's jazz. It's what Reinheard is been doing after her appearience in American Idol.
NICE one! Similar(ish) to this one is The Propellerheads (with Shirley Bassey) singing History Repeating.

All geat, but Hayley is amazing - "Creep", "Seven Nation Army" and "Habits" are the best from Postmodern Jukebox with her.
Hayley Reinhart the girl in the middle is my favorite too.
Sweet friend, I think you are ready for Tim Minchin's "Confessions."

Sorta of sounds like the big band era of the 1940’s
That’s what the band does. They take modern songs and transpose them into 1940’s style.
❤❤❤❤❤
Q preciosidad de mujer, Morgan James.❤❤
Biss, been listening to them for a while now, too hard to pick a favorite, they are all great, but are they as good as the trio of Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris when they were performing together?

Not my cup of tea...

You don't know anything about vocalists
Thank you.
I have listened to Ms Haley Reinhart before, so yes she is a favourite.
