You take me down roads that lead to places I never knew that I wanted to visit. You are my eyes into parts of the world I will never get to see for mself. Thank you so much!
Just discovered your channel today and i can't get enough of your videos on my country Namibia! Great work thank you for showing us the corners we never thought of going to
I'm humbled when I see a man like John earning his living in the middle of nowhere. You create such good interaction with people you meet on your journeys. Really good video Kinga, I loved it!!!
I love youuuuu so much For the past week I have nothing to do but watching your videos I am actually buying my bike and starting thank my journey You have inspired me so much thank you so much for sharing everything
thanks for sharing your video Kinga! Good to see that you are still enjoying the freedom of Africa. Its a vast continent with a broad range of scenery to thrill. Most of the people you have run into seem friendly & willing to interact. He seemed genuinely interested in your bike & your travels which was very cool. It still never ceases to amaze me how relaxed you are about everything and yet you are literally thousands of miles from Poland, your home & family. You are obviously well prepared as he brought you water over for a shower which he indicated couldn't be drunk so being in the middle of nowhere in a pretty warm climate it's just as well you carry water for yourself and sip tube. Have you actually weighed your motorbike (wet) with panniers but not loaded up? I weighed my 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan with soft panniers which come in at 200 kg. I just weighed my MotoGuzzi 750 Breva V twin with shaft drive on weigh bridge & it come in the same weight as the Himalayan 200 kg wet. The Himalayan being a single cylinder 411 cc with chain drive must have lead in the frame or something. Lol
It never ceases to amaze me in my old age that I would get to ride so many places I never dreamed of, and see it so clearly from the comfort of my dining table. Thank you again for your effort. Oh, just one thing, if you showed the map at the beginning it would sure help us Google Earth fans...Love ya, stay safe.
That is why I have been to Namibia 16 times already since 2000! I love the place! At 6:14 that petrol station and vet fence gate is just south of Palmwag Lodge....been caught out at that gate once....learnt my lesson...
I'm not sure if you are on autopilot so to speak in your dealings with people, but in certain situations you act the same way, firm, friendly, and keep it short and move on, not hanging around. It makes sense, there were a couple of situations where you could see trouble developing fairly quickly. I noticed near the end when you bought water, you parked the bike away from the store entrance. I guess you have learned a few things from your travels... interesting to watch. Stay safe.
That's soul food riding in those vast spaces where the silence speaks to those who hear its messages. Think you are very happy riding in it. So nice seeing your journey and lovely spirit. 👍👍

Northern Namibia is usually dry, and in recent years, drought made it drier. The low flat plain that stretches to the Angolan border is lined with dry river channels that lead to a vast salt pan, the Etosha Pan. The river channels, known together as the Cuvelai, brimmed with water in early 2008 as heavy rains triggered floods throughout southern Africa. In Namibia, the floods started in early February, and by February 3, when the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite captured the lower image, water had already started to flow through the Cuvelai. The Etosha Pan is turquoise, the color of muddy soil or sediment-choked water in this type of image.
just a heads up from a frequent Africa traveler. if the water isn't safe to drink, don't brush your teeth in it !! (or use it to wash fruit or veggies that won't be cooked)
Hey Chillie, sorry I'm so late! Still got my KingaFix though so I'll survive another week! Got a bit worried about the psychedelic camera work at the beginning until l realised it wasn't something I'd taken. Between you and l, l reckon John was kinda entranced with the pretty air guitar playing Polaussie girl with the special hair! But keep that between us, ok? 👍🏻💕🇳🇿
