@@Megz1794 for me it’s mostly her fault (in the series i don’t know the book) because cole stayed away from her for alex but she literally kissed him first because of a cup that he fixed😭
I hate Jackie for messing things up at the end. Alex clearly loves her and I know that in the end it’ll be her and Cole but her and Alex deserve to be together❤
I don't like how Alex is portrayed, for me he is a insecure and immature character, and I hate when a person uses the flaws of somebody else to make themselves look better (he quite often tells Jackie what a bad guy Cole is (after homecoming, during the speech of his mother and so on). He even throws the whole bunch under the bus after Jackie got her hair bleached.
But still I wish for him to have somebody who really cares for him and not choose him, because she is afraid to not choose. And I really hope that the writers begin to put him in a better light, or explain better why he is like he is.

I found Alex one of the most annoying characters, sorry to say.
He is obsessed with being in love, it becomes kind of creepy in the end! He holds on way too much! Therefore he should be with his best friend Kylie, where he can open up and really show himself, that would help him much more to get some confidence, which he desperately needs.

I think Alex and Jackie are not like the right match together I mean the scene when Jackie said that if your drunk you really could say honess things to people like that one part when Alex was drunk and then the way he look to the girl waiter and there was like effect like they look to each other's eyes for 10 seconds. he's such an asshole for continuing to flirt with the girlfriend of his brother. He gotta know his limit. His caracter is just not it. He had to apologise to Jackier multiple times, gets her drunk, tells her he wished she had never came. He treats girls like shit. I mean, what is it about him really ? Why are you all preferring a toxic love interest than a loving and caring boyfriend ?
