Thank you for the updated video. You've given me so many ideas and realistic expectations from your van build. I love your decorations and how cozy and comfortable you've made it.
Hey there! Why Thankyou for the kind words. 😊 How is your sienna camper coming along? I’m happy if I helped you brainstorm some solutions- yay! Got any other questions or suggestions for me for future videos? I’m still learning how to do this 😂
Nice job! Curious with the selection the the Grand Teton (low). You gain a few inches but lose the ability to have a larger fridge (thinking you can add a second fridge between the two captain chairs). What size fridge do you have in the back and is the extra few inches worth having a smaller kitchen (subjective but interested in your thoughts). Thanks.
Thank you & great question😊 The fridge size went down from 15 qt to 13qt by lowering the 2”. Was worth it to me for the overall feel inside. And you’re you’ve got the right idea about adding something additional in the middle- I did find a fantastic option with a 27qt cooler that is oval and the same height as the console between the front seats. Dual usage bonus .. a nightstand ! If you have any other ideas or questions please let me know, I’m always trying to ponder better ways to communicate and help others find their solutions. 😊 Have a lovely weekend !
Thanks for the video. Have you ever have you starter battery die because your sliding side door is left open while camping? My 2023 sienna wouldn’t start when I was working on converting it in my garage, dealer said it was because I left the side doors opened for too long. My lights were off and it still drained the battery. Thanks
Hi there! That’s not happened yet, thankfully. Wow, I’m sorry you experienced that so soon!! So glad you were at home when it happened at least! I always turn off all interior lights and trick my back hatch lock by flipping it in- I have alittle footage doing that I thought I’d make a video about it. What I have not figured out yet is how to trick the sliding doors too. But I don’t leave those open for very long and when they are open, only the dash light illuminates for a short period of time, then it times out. Did the dealership show you how to manage it ? I’ve watched some videos but only found Gen 3 techniques not for our model. (For the sliding doors)
Hi! Nope, second row is still there. I did remove the 3rd row so I’d have a “trunk” AND it removed 300Lbs of unneeded weight.. since I put 150LBS back in with the kit. Have you been working on a build or just getting started?
Hashtag VAN LIFE!!! Great video Jodi, this should be on that company's website 👍🏽 Very engaging and thorough🤩
Thankyou 🫶🏼
