I think your music is beautiful and I am glad I found it. I do wish for more worship music that uses His name for those believers who prefer that. Maybe another version using YHWH. A lot of us have no live music and rely on music found online by wonderful people like yourselves to play in our worship services and we so appreciate you kindness in sharing your gift with others so I hate to even ask but I do pray that you might consider it. May our Heavenly Father bless you and continue to lead you in writing more inspiring and worshipful songs which I know greatly bless the body. I hope to be able to hear you live someday! While I appreciate you taking the time to comment, I see that the concept of receiving lyrical inspiration from the words of a Psalm quite baffles you. It seems you have never tried to set those exact words to music and found how awkward and clumsy it is to sing. You see, when one is a songwriter, they must take inspiration from the experiences and expressions that surround them and offer them in their best interpretation. Mere plagiarism does not a songwriter make. It would take me many pages to explain, in the simple terms you seem to require, that this song does indeed capture the message of this Psalm without having to use the exact words from whatever edition of the scriptures you might be reading from. Are there not multiple translations of the Torah? Has language not evolved from one generation to the next? Perhaps if you were to read this Psalm in ancient english you would see it said differently again! In closing, I quote one great songwriter: "The world don’t need any more songs… As a matter of fact, if nobody wrote any songs from this day on, the world ain’t gonna suffer for it. Nobody cares. There’s enough songs for people to listen to, if they want to listen to songs. For every man, woman and child on earth, they could be sent, probably, each of them, a hundred songs, and never be repeated. There’s enough songs. Unless someone’s gonna come along with a pure heart and has something to say. That’s a different story."
