Hi from South Louisiana! Thank you for sharing your story. I am nearly 50 years old and was born with a unilateral cleft lip and palate. (I didn't know it when I met her but my wife was born with a cleft palate!). Much of what you said in your video runs pretty much parallel to my story and surgeries as well. In fact, my experiences have led me to become a nurse! You are very much an inspiration to others like us and also to parents of children born with craniofacial birth defects. I decided to try my hospital's soup a couple of days after my bone graft and I found it disgusting! I only ate macaroni cheese for the rest of my stay... I won't lie, it was actually pretty good 😀 I also remember how my hip would really hurt if I laughed too much so I couldn't watch one of my favourite cartoons on TV, which was very upsetting for my 10 year old self! Anyway, thanks for another great video 💖
