Absolutely awesome Podcast! Thomas, you are the man! Keep doing what you do buddy! #FishingtheDMVPodcast rocks! And a big shout out to Tyler!
Thank you sir I really appreciate it
Ton of bank fishing opportunities specially, around small creeks and streams!
I heard from a few buddies that stayed through the storm they said both there big bites came off docks right after the storm
After having LiveScope for a while, I call it "Garmin Neck"
I have learned a lot with it.
I’m starting to get that neck pain as well 😂
@@fishingthedmv The pain is worth it.
Pigeon has its deeper grass back
Tyler/Thomas: Great video! Will be going to Lake Anna first week of July for vacation, staying at lower lake near the dam (I think Valentine Cove). I will only have access to a kayak or shore. Any advice for that area?
Yea man we left early that was a crazy storm. That lightning ran us off
Great show
Great information, very impressive. I’m telling all my friends about this show.I’m a frustrated new fisherman. I work for a nonprofit in Arlington and I bought everything thinking I could use fishing to help some of our participants. But I’ve been fishing 5 times and caught 2 eels. I don’t own a boat. I’m comfortable with all the lures, but I never even get a bite. I feel like my spots suck. I fished lake Anna today, but was on the swimming cookout side. I didn’t get a bite. I just can’t find a spot on a bank. When I don’t send any pictures home to my family of at least a bluegill it feels like a waste of money. I grew up in East Tennessee and I caught tons of fish. Virginia has been rough. Should I use a mobile fish finder?
Upper Potomac river will be a great spot this time of year to catch smallmouth, bluegill catfish, and sometimes largemouth bass. You can also try Burk Lake, or Silver Lake regional Park
I’ve fished lake Anna my entire life. And I will say during the summer when people come for vacation the lake is absolutely stupid to be on. People don’t care or take into consideration of other people
Hey brother, do you have recommendations for lures? My son and I have been out for 2 days and nothing yet
