Just brilliant. Too bad such a beautiful effect can only be seen through video, as an artifact of camera shutter speed vs laser scan rate, and not in person. These visuals would blow an audience away at a concert if they were possible. Since those effects are confined exclusively to video, it might be argued that computer animation could negate all of the equipment and manpower and still produce spectacular results. My suspicion is that the vibrant, pure light from lasers may be diminished through CGI, yet on the other hand, today's graphic cards and crazy-powerful rendering may be able to match or possibly exceed these effects. Great show, incredible visuals and excellent creativity using this technique to produce effects that have never seen before. It gives the observer the impression that the laws governing lightwave propagation have been completely shattered. A++
Very very cool 👏Did these effects require some kind of programmed synchronization of the laser and the camera? I know these effects rely on the rolling shutter of the camera but this example is so clean and perfectly timed that it must have something else going on than just finding a suitable shutter speed? Or how? 😄
