I wish a lot of breweries would start selling things like this type of kit with the wort for some of their more popular brews. I just wonder what it would take and how much the breweries would have to charge to make it worth their time. Plus there is shelf life too.
I agree, how good would it be if we could process a beer from the original manufacturer and enjoy it in our own time. The freshness and quality would probably differ depending on the brewer I suppose.
Nice video mate. Not heard of a kit like that before. Turned out good. We're all tight asses mate 😂😂
Hej Pierre, great to see you. We don't have these Wort kits here in germany. That would make brewing so much easier. Cheers!
I had my first harvest of cashmere and vista hops this year. I froze them, but ended up trashing them because i want to use them fresh next year. Very excited to try a similar brew with homegrown
Why did you trash them?
Thanks Pierre, a bit different brew here, I fancy trying one but the cost is horrendous, doing the convresion (GBP) its 98 dollars ! wow. excellent video as always cheers 🍻
Thanks Andy, I have a great one I'm making today from a local company in my area. They gave it to me free of charge normally $45 AUS. I am very lucky I feel.
I just added the dry hops for FWK, what a great aroma. Good luck with yours.
Mate, I can already tell you it's a ripper of a beer. I am about to start recording the results, coming up in the next video.
@SimpleHomeBrew looking forward to it. Thanks for providing such informative video's.
I wonder if you have done the basic coopers draught . I like it , it may also benefit from some tinkering.
It may do, I haven't really taken time to experiment with this one yet but, I am doing a coopers in a couple of weeks could be fun.
Nice beer! I’ve wanted to try a fresh wort kit for years. Can’t get them in the US. I’ve only seen them in places where pre-hopped kits are widely accepted & available like Canada, the UK, Australia, and NZ. Shops in the US no longer carry prehopped kits, with one or two exceptions. Been that way since 2020. But we can buy them online from Coopers DIY, Mr Beer (owned by Coopers), Munton’s, and ABC Cork (Munton’s in disguise). Consumers need to demand fresh wort kits. Count me in. Excellent video. Cheers🍺🍻
Thanks @Skid-Baxter I am so glad we have people in the industry that like to supply these kind of brews. I am working another one from a local looking forward to the results.
@@SimpleHomeBrew You're welcome, and thank YOU for subbing to my channel.👍😎I did not expect that! I subbed to yours some years ago and have always enjoyed it and always hit the "Like" button, even though I don't always comment. Fresh wort kits are fantastic. Looking forward to your next one.🍺
I got unsubscribed. Glad to have found you again.
Wow, how did that happen?
Great to see you back!
@@SimpleHomeBrew lost my account.
That's worrying, I have found that TH-cam unchecks the bell notification and thought maybe the system unsubscribes people as well. Cheers and thanks for checking in.
Pierre great video once again, those fwk from all in brewing are great but a pain in the backside in my opinion , i find it better to take it out of the box and fill the fv with . i mainly buy the fwk from grain and grape and they come in 15litre containers.. did the yellow pill end up settling to a better reading after the 1st telementry reading
I am about to brew an 8 Stacks wort kit this week. It comes in 20 litres and in a plastic bottle much better for pouring. The yellow is ok it was my stupidity that the reading was incorrect. I realised it has bad readings through stainless.
Nothing wrong with your PIL. It starts ready from the moment you move it therefore it’s 26 degrees in your hands and 1.200 because of the angle it was.
Adjust your start time to when you dropped it in and will be fine.
Great advice thanks.
