Why is everybody skin so red? Surely this is a bug or some kind of wrong setting. Maybe the vivid color camera mode is selected rather than the default one.
That color AI thing at the beginning is amazing. It's like a music clip. People are sleeping on this function that pretty much only Huawei camera offers for now.

R Y(R+G) Y(R+G) B, triple red，Huawei's algorithm need to improve. In my opinion, cam app can identify some general situation(Correct color). But the reality is more complicated. The colors look kinda red/yellow in these photos. If Huawei fixes this problem, p30p will be best camera(photo) phone in 2019 Q1. (S10+ performed more balanced now.) BTW, Xperia 1 is probably the best video phone.
Good filming but as others have mentioned the colour reproduction wasn't great....there was a hue of red in video shots. Be interested to see how the S10 performs in the same rig.

The camera shots from the P30Pro are simply better (by far!) than other devices on the market. But the video quality, is just garbage (or call it dissapointment, whatever).
This is because it use 10mp binned resolution which lack 2mp for True 4k resolution, and they upscale it for the minus 2mp unfortunately the vid is direffent than photo so even with the processing the detail quality take hit
The RGB ultrawide is used in tandem to correct color shifts caused by the RYYB sensor, the DSLR lens or the rig frame was likely obstructing that lens causing color distortion, especially causing everyone to look like lobsters.

Skin tones are absolutely awful. Some weird artifacting on out of focus areas. Not exactly a DSLR/mirrorless replacement..

Maybe it is intentional. Asians generally have yellowish skin and the red hue helps to make them look less like sick people. Just a theory
