Beautiful, can't wait for the New Parliament Building to start construction here. Also looking to get regular updates and videos from you in the park, when construction starts. Hopefully by then you will have gotten a Drone to use for the channel. I was hoping you would show more of the actual site in the Park, where the New Parliament Building is to be built. Hopefully next time, really appreciate the video, all the best.

Construction of the new 160,000 parliament building is supposed to start there very soon. The area will be very beautiful and will put Jamaica 🇯🇲 on a higher level as a global leader and influencer.

Wow! It’s been a long time that I’ve seen the park looks this green. Beautiful and well kept! I walked by this park every day for school for my years as a child. ...So many memories😐 ...good and bad ones but I always love this park no matter what. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Rush it would be nice if you could do a revisit of some of the other beautiful green spaces in Kingston like Emancipation Park, Devon House and also Hope Gardens. It could be like a series entitled Green spaces or parks in Kingston . St. William Grant Park could also be included .

Walked through the park everyday after school to go meet up with my grandmother who had a business in king street! I went St. George’s girls school on duke street. It was a cut through to get to king street and it did not look like this! It was really run down circa 1971! I remember passing the Marcus Garvey monument!

  • @boynton20

Definitely needs to be developed into a local and tourist attraction

Massive construction project coming later this year. One of the biggest parliament buildings you will ever see. Approximately 331,000 square feet in size and 74 feet high. Jamaica will never be the same place.

I cant wait for them to develop the other parts of that park....including the construction of the new parliament building across from the Wolmers schools....my old high school

The 160,000 square feet, elegant, iconic, new parliament building is coming soon and the surroundings will also be very beautiful. This area will be upgraded and turned into a government campus.

Reminds me of Central Park in some ways. How it a large green space right in the middle of Downtown Kingston

Great view of the NH park. Sadly, Jamaica’s heroes are long gone , their passions , beliefs and struggles long forgotten. The great Garvey would be saddened to see brothers killing brothers .
I visited Paul Bogle in Morant Bay when I first visited JA. Saw the famous courthouse and visited his grave site and reflected on his struggle for justice and the massacre that followed .
Today , corruption , crime and violence now rule this land . Our eternal heroes must weep in same wherever their souls live .Jamaica, beautiful country but troubled paradise.

Aspects of this part should be replicated across ja...in major urban areas. What they describe as "park " sometimes isn't bigger than your backyard.

This 52 acres park is set for unprecedented development and change. It will be more beautiful and well kept in the future. It will become a place of very high prominence and a major attraction for tourists and Jamaicans.

Bob Marley body rightfully returned to his place of birth. With that said, I wish some of those national heroes bodies would bury at the park instead of just monuments.

Thanks for the video. That criminal Bustamante do not belong there. People should be reminded of his cruelty towards the Rastafarians. I have not forgotten. Love Michael Manley. He belong there. Great man. Michael is missed.

The sad part about Jamaica, is that our history is still not fully known. Bustamante, one of the founding father of Jamaica was a cold, wicked person. Long story short, he made the lives of the Rastafarians a living hell. After an incident out by the airport in which a rasta was falsely accused; Bustamante had Rastafarians hunted down like wild animals, cut off their beard and hair, throw them in prison, destroyed Pinnacle in St Catherine, and made their lives hell. There is more. Go do some research and know your history.

Mr: Rush That is Exactly how a lawnscape should look 👁👁♥️👍🇯🇲 .. I hope they do the same with the 3miles flyover Green Space areas and I hope that my fellow citizen of Jamaica who is watching and into Resident fence side gardening take note and do the same because some fence side gardening that I see across Jamaica today is definitely a " Pappi Show Thing " totally uncoordinate and ugly it is like they don't know what they are doing 😭😭 ... " Nahh Sahh " ... anyway mr: Rush you say that the National Heroes circle is the burial place for our Heroes and outstanding patriotic citizens of Jamaica and so I guess that is where I will be buried .. " ha ha ha ha haaaa " 😄😁.. among our Heroes and the proud patriotic outstanding Elite Citizens of Jamaica ...
" oh God No Joke " .. last but not least mr: Rush I think it is time for them to build a iconic symbolic structure over the late Honorable Prime Minister Edward Saga grave site ... mr: Rush as always another positive and informative video thank you.
    💚🇯🇲💚 Jamaicazzz Nice 💚🇯🇲💚.
