Love these tins and I have some suggestions. *rubber bands * bits n bobs * charms* dangles * hole reinforces * tiny tags *labels *words * thread *pins *needles and *string.
Thank you so much Tracie, I really really love 💕 these tin toppers, and other bits and bobs. These are really really stunning and gorgeous too. Thank you so much to for the freebie (hopefully) I’m in the Facebook group now? Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Hi Tracie, I just love boxes and tins, you only have to ask my family. Lol I think the kit is just great, thank you so much for sharing. Have fun I know I will. Love Lita xx😍
I purchase tins at my Salvation Army and Goodwill Stores. They are only a couple of dollars. I was going to spray paint them but love this idea. Only the top needs covering. The sides are fine. Thank you for the freebie.
Love these! I love using tins to store bits and bobs, now I can know what's in them without having to open all of them to find what I want ; - } Thank you for all you do!
I love these! I have tons of Altoid tins. Large and small. These will fit perfectly! I took a tin class with Leighanna Light at an art retreat several years ago. She puts tins on her BBQ to distress them. I’ve not done it... but I’m going to try. It blackens them and makes them look really old. She had one ready for each of us in the class. I have a bunch of cookie tins that are modern. Want to try to BBQ them all and see how they look. Then I’ll use these labels on them! Excited to give it a try!
I think it's much better to have lots of ideas with little time than lots of time and no ideas lol. Thank you for being so thoughtful of your viewers and so generous. ❤️
Really nice. I have kept tins from mints and have been using them for the same things you are. Like the toppers and the kit. Thanks for sharing. I'm in America.
Love the tin labels and ordered the colored ones. I also love sports. American football and NASCAR. Good for you for having other interest. Makes you more well rounded. Love your craft and Etsy offers. Well done my dear.
These are fantastic! Love the matchbox--it's deeper than the regular matchboxes I've been making so it's more useful. Appreciate the freebie and thanks for your amazing work!
Ohhh Tracie - I love this kit!!! I happen to be in organisation mode at the moment and am finishing off a rather major project as we speak. This is fabulous timing!!! Now... to source me some tins hahaha!!! Thank you for all you do and share!!! Hugs, Sharon 🌷💜
Love the tin labels. These would fit Altoid tins. In order to remove the paint on the tin, you just open them up and throw them in a open fire. Example when you might be burning yard waste. Just leave them until you finish burning, remove them and just brush them off. You get spots that are rust looking and dark grey, no paint is remaining. They look really old.
Well you know, I’m a sucker for tags and things.. lol! These are wonderful!! I love how you aged the labels to look rusted and old.. your amazing, as always!! Xoxo
My dear, I am in my jammies myself (a sort of Pepto pink ensemble' with stripes all over........DREADFUL) and I am voting them THE fashion of the day!!!! ;-)
We have altoid tins here. But I have a bunch of bigger moon pie tins that you really have me thinking! I saw in your videos, you getting things out of tins and thought you are so awesome thinking about that.
WOW, They look so AWESOME and very vintage!! What a great kit! OOOo cant decide which i like best, the colour or the neutrals.... Love them all and i have a few ideas for these fab labels too! Thank you also for the FREEBIE, that is very cool and i can see tonnes on uses for those too! xo
fantastic project. I collected lots of Altoids tins and others when I was making mini survival kits in Altoid tins. Then I saw blank tins available on line. They are just so cute and practical. Your digis really bring me back to mini containers. Big Thanks!🦌💌❤️☕️
These are amazing Tracie! Everything you create is always so pretty. Going to save the download on the Facebook Group for when I get my printer installed!!! I finally have a printer. Not yet set up but I now have one. Yay! Thank you so much for all you do. Hugs!
YES YES YES! - (after thought) blank labels with an assortment of words to put on them? maybe curved words for the labels that have the curved words.. gosh i hope that makes sense
I have some old tins myself. Mine are the slide apart kind and they are rectangle. I love this idea but of course I would have to buy some Altoids or splurge and buy some tins from Amazon. I have an order with them now but they won’t ship it to me. I’ve been waiting since Sept.14th. Amazons has it showing that it should be shipped Oct. 28th. I get get free shipping then they make me wait for over a month for my order. That’s a bunch of crap!!! I even placed another order after that and got it in the mail right away. Go figure!!! 🤷🏻♀️
Gorgeous idea Tracie, defiantly adding this to my list of things to create, I might sort my postage stamps into colour or theme groups then store them in these tins as flicking through my stamp albums drives me nuts looking for specific colours or topics.
I love old tins too, but as you mentioned very expensive and rather difficult to find. Your labels are gorgeous. Thank you for the freebie. Have a great day Tracie!
thankyou so much, I've been using Altoids and old matchboxes left over from when I sold candles...I love putting little things in them and they are where I can reach for them to use . Have a great day!
lovely kit and freebie! I'll be nabbing that kit come payday, and a freebie to play with to, yay! I recently decorated a tin (my ssd card came in a lovely tin container) for my brother, a musician, for his plectrums....and after I was done decorating it with musical ephemera on the lid & ageing it, I gave it a purposely bubbly coat of extra thick clear embossing powder ...it looked wonderfully battered & he really loves it. Oh, and if your tin isn't hinged and you want it to be, a small piece of cotton fabric works wonders! lol
Ooooh ooooh... I am making some of these, but I think I will use Stainz by Patty Pockets to seal the tops.... Thank you so much, Miss Tracie, for this super idea and video :-) Blessings ~~~
that goes down as the world’s cutest sneezing!!!
LOLOL x
Your cute little squeaky sneeze made me laugh out loud! 😃. Sounds like my sister! 🤗 I watch a lot of your videos and love what you do. TFS.
You come up with the most adorable kits and crafts, and you also freely give of your talent. A topper for labels would be handy, too. 😘
