My POS is Clover who brought me to Ecwid, I just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly for inventory control. I have a bricks and mortar store, an Online store I'm currently setting up with Ecwid, and I plan to connect with my Facebook, Instagram, and Google accounts. I need to be sure that if an item is purchased from any source it will be reflected in my inventory. Thanks for your comment Betty I really appreciate it :) If I understand correctly, you would have one UPC or SKU that has multiple attributes, like a Shirt for example that is available in multiple colours and sizes. A good way to manage this type of inventory with Ecwid is to use Product Variations. In your Ecwid Control Panel > Products > Select a Product > Options > Variations. I touch upon this a bit in this video th-cam.com/video/tOqRdSMtS3M/w-d-xo.html but I go into much more detail in my Ecwid course daniella.io/ecwid-tutorial-ecommerce-course/ However, I am not sure exactly how this works with Clover POS, like technically, how Clover manages product variations with Ecwid. What if I am selling multiple categories? There is no option to add different categories and different category pages on Ecwid unlike Shopify right? Its just one front page where are all your products will be shown and you have to keep scrolling to browse them? Or are there more options to it?

I'm not sure I understand your questions. If you are creating a site with WordPress, you can embed Ecwid as your online store (like I show in the videos above) and you can create your pages (About, Contact...) in WordPress. By "content templates" if you mean a theme, Ecwid can work with any WordPress theme. If by "content templates" you mean you are looking for written content, I always encourage business owners to write their own content for their business - nobody knows your business better than yourself. Hi Deborah, It's a bit hard to reply because I noticed people sometimes mean different things by "Facebook Shop" (Facebook marketplace, Facebook business store page, Facebook page selling products...) but if we are thinking of the same thing (a Facebook store embedded to your Facebook business page) then if you use Ecwid as your online store, you woud probably want to replace what you currently have with your Ecwid Facebook store to keep everything in one place. Otherwise you will have multiple sources of sales and inventory to juggle. Centralizing your management in one place is the easiest and Ecwid can do that. I hope that helps, all the best

Hi, Yes you can synch everything using this plugin www.ecwid.com/apps/storemanagement/codisto-linq But 100% be careful because the plugin costs, and the platforms will take fees, as well as your payment processors as usual. This just makes for a lot of middle men nibbling at your profits!! So make sure you are still making money by selling or connecting only high ticket times, things with good margins, or products that will bring in recurring customers for example. Best of luck :)

Hey Daniella, This is great information. I work for a Thrift Store. Would Ecwid be successful to sell "one time" items? Or is Ecwid designed more for selling large quantity merchandise? Thanks for the help!
Hi Aaron, thanks for your comment :) Ecwid can work for one time items no problem. Just keep in mind you will need a paid account to be able to manage stock quantities since you would probably want to set them to 1 in your case. All the best Ps. Well, @@marichiesTech, the Guinean franc is an accepted currency in Ecwid so if that's what you use then it covers your needs. Open an account for free and check it out in Settings → General → Regional Settings. Regards

Hi SKP, I am not sure what you are selling so it is hard to say but you could contact your distributor and ask them for product photos and their authorization to use them in your online store. If you are looking for stock photos, there are many sites out there that offer free photos, just do a quick Google search I am sure you will come across many. Best of luck!

Hi, Yes you can synch everything using this plugin www.ecwid.com/apps/storemanagement/codisto-linq But 100% be careful because the plugin costs, and the platforms will take fees, as well as your payment processors as usual. This just makes for a lot of middle men nibbling at your profits!! So make sure you are still making money by selling or connecting only high ticket times, things with good margins, or products that will bring in recurring customers for example. Best of luck :)
