More than a handful of the guests in this video were on the Sing Off the same season that Voice Play was there. The talent on the show that season was great. Home Free (the winners that season), Voice Play, Ten, The Philharmonic, Vocal Rush, and a few others made lasting impressions that season. A number of the groups that were on the show have collaborated (and became very good friends). I know that VoicePlay members had helped with a number of arrangements for Home Free. Even for those who didn't win, the Sing Off ended up being a great experience that pulled alot of talent together, forming friendships, partnerships, and collaborations across many groups.
Their Queen in 5 Minutes is fantastic, as is their Boy Bands in 5 Minutes. I'd start there and then get into Oogie Boogie's Song (which is quite bass heavy) but start with the others so you can get a good hold of the whole group.
Any of their features with Rachel Potter are amazing (she started out this video!
Just Sing from VoicePlay makes me happy in ways I've not gotten from music since my last live concert. That was Home Free.
If you watch with captions it tells you who everyone is
She did! That's how she knew who the kids were, how long they've been together, and that these were people they've collaborated with. It's just the video that's been copied that doesn't have the captions on.

Voice Play was established many years ago, but many members have changed through the years and they also sang at Disney World for some time before the Sing-Off happened.

Thank you for covering this, it's just so cool to see all of these great voices together. It seems it's one of the characteristics of acapella singers/groups that they tend to be more collaborative - in particular the groups that came out of the Sing-Off, who are obviously still friends with a lot of respect for each others' talents.
The original group included Geoff, Layne (both still involved) and Scott Porter (actor in Friday Night Lights and others). They were all in the same middle school choir. Can you Imagine?
Loved the Bass singer's face off. Tim Fouch and Geoff Castellucci making faces at each other. lol
Dear Lauren, I asked before but I am anxious for you to react to Home Free sing Man Of Constant Sorrow. And I am REALLY anxious for you to react to Angelina Jordan at age 9 sing the black and white version of I Put A Spell On You. I think I remember seeing you react to last year's singing on AGT but I would LOVE you to see her earlier work, especially the 1 I mentioned. Her 1st song in a studio is I Who Have Nothing at 6. There is a BEAUTIFUL reason she has ALWAYS performed barefoot since age 6.

It's something special, and another great collaboration. One of their great talents is their arrangements. It showed here, and certainly does in Wicked...

Adding on to Ryan’s (all of them are great suggestions), I am a big fan of their ACA Top 10 series. This is the easiest way to hear primarily untouched audio as both audio and video are recorded together for these. It also lets you hear quick snippets of at least 4 members (Layne sometimes gets to sing a bit as well).

When Tim first came in, did you catch that growl from Geoff? Playful competition and a side of homage, since Geoff credits Tim with teaching him the growl. You need decent headphones to pick it up well.
