Cenote Angelita, Tulum, Mexico

Nicknamed "The Nightmare", Cenote Angelita is a spooky advanced dive in the jungles of Mexico, featuring a poisonous Hydrogen Sulfide cloud at 100 feet depth.
The ominous gas surrounds an island of dead trees, creating an eerie feeling aided by the unusual green water, making Angelita the most unique cenote in the world, unlike any other.
If you're very lucky, a small crocodile sometimes swims to the kayak in the middle of the cenote to bask in the sun and/or drag unwary divers to a watery grave.
