It hurts, though it's been a while. She was always there for me, through the good and bad. The first one to really love me, the one to teach me that love exists, and isn't something we just hear about. She was everything to me.
She went through so much, never showed how much the chemo affected her, until the end.
We never saw it coming, it happened by really fast. They said she had maybe a month left, but in reality, we had a week left with her.
I still have my dad, but let's be honest, mothers and daughters get along better. We were so close. Even writing this makes me cry.
Good luck to all of those who've lost people. It hurts, but we have to move on, even if we break down once in a while.
