Curtis it was a pleasure meeting you and Jonah with James at the facility on the day of filming this video! So impressive to meet the gurus of the industry! Nice to see you share so much info but still keep the company secrets
id like to know too. please let me know if you find out. All he said was it was a 440nm 660nm red blue 3 in 1. I am assuming he means there is three separate led lighting types or there is three light strips per bay
@@Nicoedmus11 I'd also like to know, but, his shelves are 4'x8' and there are 6 x 8' lights per shelf, I believe. If you look closely during his lighting talk there indeed looks like there are 3 red lights between every blue light (if you really squint you can see)
@@metalliphreak1 thanks man. I ended up buying two grow lights with seed veg and mature settings for each shelf. I have to test and see what setting works best.
Yeah I think 3 red to one white so i think he means 75% sodium/red light. When I used HPS they were SON T-agro bulbs which were 60/40 (60%sodium and 40% blue) I struggled to work out what he meant as most leds have full spectrums with many different colour bulbs but it sounds like he using different units for spectrum.
Curtis, I recently joined up with your program "Profitable Urban farming and noticed that many of the links and numbers are from 2015 and the links have expired. I was wondering if this same content is updated on the "from the field" website? If so can I switch over to that membership? You can email me or message me if you would like. Thanks for your content we have learned a ton already.
dear, your red leds are just consuming watts, are not productive for vegetative, so, you should try just cold white with same or less watts, for more efficience. good video

Please post a link to your commercial microgreen farm. I think he knows what he's talking about.
This isn't some basement greens business.
He let it slip that he's working 14hr days...😬
sadly too short....
love to see the full movie but to pay so much is absurd!
