How do they get such realistic sounds from these are they all done by electronics and chips or are they somehow authentic working diesel engines that.... I just don't see how one that small could sound that big I know gasoline engines exist that small, so diesel probably does too but I cannot fathom them sounding just like a big rig in real life.
I can tell most of the horns I heard are electronic, not true air horns. Although one did sound like an air horn, but there's no way an air horn that small can sound that deep.
And I see the tale-tell signs of dry ice being used for exhaust smoke from the stacks... But what about the sound of the hiss from the air brakes releasing? Is that a legitimate miniature system, or is it electronic chip as well?
First I've ever seen of these things, they're pretty dang mind blowing!

@@MichaelJohnson-iy2ic I don't own one. Like I said, I just discovered the channel myself.
I don't know where to buy them, but the first place I would recommend you start asking, would be at your nearest model railroad or model RC specialist shop and hope they could point you in the right direction.
From what I understand, they're only available in model kits that have to be painted and put together, and involve a lot of aftermarket parts, and of course a lot of wiring for everything from the microchips that help produce the sounds, to the lighting, the electrical motors, and whatever other bells and whistles one might have.
I do know that some of the ones that I've seen in that video, the airbrush paint job alone would probably be hundreds, if not a couple thousand dollars.
I'm pretty sure it'd be an extremely difficult, if not impossible to just buy one already completed and finished, but of course I could be wrong.
As for price I've seen a comment from someone who owns them in another thread somewhere saying that by the time they're all done they would commonly have someone between $4,000-$5,000 in it.
