      I’m searching for an answer to the exact same thing. Another video told me if I still enjoy things the way I used to and am still active it’s NOT depression, if that helps. I still do both very much the same, I think I’m just sad over like 8 major put downs in life, maybe your life also just sucks right now in one or more little areas that mean a lot to your well-being ❤

      Oh you’re a girl, it may be hormones too as she said in the video. I know someone with Therapie due to some hormone thing and she’s thrown around by her feelings like a rag doll from that, it’s a LOT appearently. All the best to you ❤

      This happened also with me 1 year ago. I just googled and watched some yt vids and they said that its okay cry to feel better and when u are ready just say to ur mind: I can do it dont be sad iam happy now! (This helped me idk if this will help u and if its a “good” way.

    Idk why i feel so tired these days and i can't focus on my studies. I feel so sad about everything my family , my body and i can't stop crying every night. I seem to smile.and laugh all day at school but when i'm home my mood changes ( my mom and dad are always fighting) last night my friend suddenly ask me how are you and i start to cry for no reason.

    I feel like I’m overly sensitive if I cry so I just hold it in because my mom says I’m over dramatic and that others have it harder and when I talk to a family member about it she mocks me and when I take it seriously she gets upset so I can’t even express my feelings it just frustrates me

    I get really bad seasonal depression but during the summer. I love the dark cold nights, and hate long sunny days. Everyone thinks im stupid!     I bottle up my emotions. It’s gotten to the point where last year I couldn’t cry even if I tried and this year I only cry one every 2 months so far… and I’ve been sad literally all the time and i don’t have any reason to be. Besides thinking everyone hates me and being constantly annoyed with myself, hating my self, having really bad thoughts, thinking there is no hope and I won’t make it. But I can’t explain why.. I also don’t eat as much anymore.

    From the last couple of week i am really not feeling like myself anymore . Everyday I would promise to myself not to cry over anything for anyone but at the end of the i would find myself crying in my bathroom or my bedroom . I dont even understand whats going on with me . I use to be so happy and now I am always having bad days i think not even a single day in the last couples of week had passed by me having a good day. I always feel lonely .     I know this comment might not get noticed but I feel like venting out....
    I'm currently in high school, and as a top student, my parents and teachers put me under a lot of pressure till I can't even think about enjoying unless I spend like 13 - 14 hrs studying daily, it's just so exhausting . My "friends" treat me like Shit, ignore me on purpose, treat me as an inferior and unknowingly always make fun of my insecurities such as weight or my pigmentation This too along with bearing my parents not being able to live a day without fighting every second and taking that anger out on me and so much more..... I've always felt that my input has always been overlooked and I've always lurked behind every body for God knows why...... I've come too far to quit my relations with anyone. I can't stand it anymore. I'm stuck in a loophole
    But I never thought of getting counselling.....this video made me realise that mental health has to be prioritized the most. Thank you ma'am

    I’ve been feeling the need to talk, but I hate talking to anyone I have personal ties to. The problem with that is I refuse to tell anyone I know at all I don’t want anyone that I know personally to know bc I’ve always been such a charismatic person like I’ve kept my small friend group together for years and now I’ve just lost it. I mean losing my hype attitude and not rlly being the light of the room anymore. I kinda wanna seek help but it’s so cringe to me especially bc ppl have been through worse than me. I’m 17, I have no power bill. I’ve also experienced things no one would expect either. But I feel as if it’s not enough to explain why I’m so sad. I have turned to drug use I haven’t taken any opioids in like 4 months tho. Also, on top of losing my income I’m now starting to lose my confidence and my pride, I hate walking around the city because I feel like I’m the ugliest there. I swear this is the first time I have even shared these new feelings with anyone, I just know everyone here have no relations with me but also have the same feelings. Edit: If you have taken medication, how does it work? Will it make my thoughts worse? That’s what’s stopping me from trying. I feel like if my thoughts get worse it’s wraps ngl.

    I am a student.. Everytime I lay down to sleep in the afternoon something just strikes me.. My heart beat increase and thn I just can't stop and start crying it's been months now..     I am feeling sad due to a rejection. The person who I liked rejected me in front of the school and everyone knows. He literally won’t even acknowledge the fact that I exist anymore. I told him I don’t have to be his friend but I want to work it out (because we sit by each other in every class). Everyone is currently talking about it adding on to all of this. I feel sadness and anxiety about this but can’t cry. I really want to cry and completely feel this but I can’t for some reason. I feel extremely exhausted, depressed, like I’m not enough, and just unattractive. Everyone is constantly looking at be and talking about me. I know it’s going to blow over in about a month or two but the damage it took to my mental health just hurts. ( also just so you know I’ve been professionally diagnosed with ADHD, depression, anxiety, and slight OCD if that contributes anything to this) Any advice?

    Been depressed since middle school and had violent thoughts but didn't really payed it attention until highschool it got worse and I'll hold all my feelings inside and wait until i go home and make sure I'm alone to cry and wish i..died. i tell my family that I'm ok and I'm always alright. They say "Find jesus" , "Start praying" what the fuck is that gonna do..jesus cant help me. I feel like he has let go or i disappointed him.

    I lost 42 family members in Palestine and I have to run a court case alone at 14 years old I'm from Iraq and left to come to usa when I was 4 years old I got bullied by students and teachers and called a terrorist and a lier everything is so hard everything feels painful to do I can't focus in school and I'm just sad alm the time

    I'm only 10 and I'm depressed I felt happy but now I just feel really sad and everything just makes me sad I can't even enjoy a nice tv show or a book. Life is so meaningless why do we do this stuff just to eat then burn off the food.

      Have you talked to your parents or some other trusted adult about this? It could be hormonal, or it could be the stress of school coming back into season, summer ending, maybe something happened with a close friend... there's so much going on at your age and so many adults dismiss your feelings as "not real". 15 was a brilliant and brutal time that I remember like yesterday although I'm 29 now.
