This palette was such a disapointment to me. The mates are very low quality compared to last year holiday palette. Colorstory great, shimmers great, but the performance of mates are very low

I can see your point! I am now watching the comparisons at the end and there is a stark difference even in the swatches quality.

I personally really enjoyed the quality of the mates. But I understand your point! I'm loving the palettes from the other years a little bit more too 😃
